This is a really nice fitting jacket. It is made of leather. This was a concern since Amazon lets sellers lie and list fake leather jackets as “real leather” in the description to rip off and mislead customers. This listing was the only one I found that explicitly stated 2 versions of the same jacket, one real leather and one not. This was appreciated. The only reason I’m taking a star off is quality control. The jacket isn’t symmetrical and even “crooked”. Some panels on one side are stitched a little higher than the other. The lower back panel is noticeably higher on the right by a little over an inch. Overall though, I like it a lot. My GF says it looks as good on me as my $900 Junker Designs jacket. ... show more

I really like this coat. I bought it for a trip out west where the temperature fluctuated from 75 on nice days to around 35 and rainy. The coat has a very water resistant finish on it already. Honestly it is difficult to tell whether or not the coat is genuine leather because of this finish. That said, it feels and looks great. I did buy a size up from my usual, which worked fine. So, I have no complaints. Plus, it was a great sale price. It is fairly light weight for a leather jacket. So, it was great for flying. I wore it layered with a hoodie so I could swap out layers as needed during the cold / hot / cold days of hiking. The jacket held up great through the trip. It's nice enough looking that it could double as a casual dinner jacket. This helps out a lot for minimalist packing. My only niggle would be that I'd like this jacket with a regular style collar as well to give it a bit more traditional look. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend it. ... show more

After shopping for an affordable leather jacket on amazon awhile and not finding any helpful reviews, I took a chance and bought this one for the style and price so I could do a REAL review and hopefully help out people looking to buy a cosplay or casual leather jacket and not get burned. So here it goes. Shipping: From Karachi, PK to TN, USA in 2 DAYS! DHL does not mess around. I got mine from JP-FACON, so I don't know how fast other sellers may or may not be. Jacket came in a reusable waterproof plastic and fabric bag in addition to its shipping bag. Received clean and undamaged. Sizing: I am 6' tall, 190#, pretty broad shouldered. 41" chest, 36" belly, 34 waist, 25" sleeves. I ordered a large. The fit Is dead on. Properly cut, it hangs well when open and comfortably snug when zipped. Sleeves terminate at the first thumb knuckle. Comfortable thru my whole range of movement. Comfortable while driving, arms don't pull up too much or bind in the armpit like some of my other, more expensive jackets. Quality: This is genuine leather. Cowhide. You can smell it immediately. It is not riding gear thick, but it is not cheap thin goat leather. Heavy but not overbearing like a riding jacket. Holds its shape on its own. The leather is a little on the softer side, the collar is reinforced so it can be worn up or down. The textured panels are elastic and also leather. The jacket features well done distressing on seams and on the lower back panel. Rivets are functional (not just for show). Jacket is lined with a quilted synth blend. not particularly warm, but I wear it with just a t-shirt underneath in 40F and am comfortable. the size I got would allow room for a light hoodie underneath. Zippers are all metal YKK. They do not bind. The zipper is on the left. The tab is easy to find while wearing gloves. The two front pockets are a little shallow, but my hands fit in and they hold my phone no problem. Has 2 nice generous interior pockets, hold large phones no problem. The vents unzip but they are decorative. (they don't actually vent into the jacket) Stitching is straight and solid. Doubled. Arrived with no stray threads left hanging. Good QC there. The main reason I wanted to do an in depth review on this is that there are so many sellers all over the internet using the same pics for movie replica jackets and inexpensive leather jackets and I was skeptical of ordering one, but knowing amazon upholds returns, I took a shot. I was relieved and pleased as soon as I tried it on. For the price and quality I will definitely be purchasing another for casual wear and costumes. Ill Update this with more pics and a follow up after I wear it awhile to show how it holds up! ... show more

I have bought other lower priced leather jackets on Amazon and they’re not always the best. But I’m very impressed with this one. Perfect fit, fairly well made, fairly heavy, good zippers The color is just right and the “distressing” on mine looked a lot better than it does in the photos.

While I wasn't expecting real leather, it came out of the packaging smelling STRONGLY of plastic. The stitching was sort of cheap and it ran too large, so we returned it.

Jacket does not look just like on the images. Fact is it looks much, much better. It totally exceeded my expectations. No quality issues. Super comfortable and truly bad a** looking. Sizes run small though. I went to a tailor to get shoulders and arm length right after the company send me a note after I placed the order letting me know that the sizes run small. Nice touch, to make sure the size is right. It was delieved in only two days (!!!) after I confirmed the size. Came nicely folded in a traveling pouch.
