There is nice quilted leather work on the vamp and on the back of the shoe. The suede-like material on the sides and the strap over the top appears to be synthetic. There is a decent composition sole, apparently designed for traction. The big logo or monogram on the strap is not attached in an elegant fashion--they could have at least covered the brads with fabric. There is nice leather lining around the back of the interior, but under the vamp and under the insole is just cloth. These fit really well and are comfortable, as long as I am not walking. While my feet are not in the best of shape, they usually don't hurt just walking around the house in a good pair of shoes. The bottoms of my feet, except for the heel, ache right off the bat when walking around in these shoes. That is not a good sign; hopefully the strap can be loosened enough to allow for better insoles. But at least these are not expensive for dress shoes.

Like I stated in the headline the look or style of the shoes are nice. The quality is good also but they are of a material that if you get them wet it seeps inside fairly quick, not from a simple rain but you want to avoid puddles. I wear them for just going out to speacial occasions. I like changing shoes with different outfits etc.. so for me they are a perfect addition that doesn't break the bank.

Edit: The glue attaching the top to the sole/heel is giving out after a handful of non-strenuous office job wears. I would avoid unless you (sincerely) are a shoe repair enthusiast. I love my weird shoes and these certainly fit the bill. They dance fairly halfway along the line between dress shoe and sneaker. It is a resolutely weird look, I am rather a fan. They are fairly comfortable for casual short distance walking (i.e. I wore them to my office job with no complaint). The biggest complaint/caution I would have is that they are a very roomy shoe up on the top side of the arch area (real heads will know the vocabulary word for this). There is a hook-and-loop strap over the top of the shoe, which you may or may not be able to determine from the product photos, but it more enables you to really spread the shoe when putting it on, it doesn't significantly tighten the shoe when strapped down. Folk of the tiny foot proceed with caution and definitely don't size up. On the whole a very unique shoe, relatively fair value, just the one caveat. Proceed with some caution but fun shoe.
