Comfortable, expect them to last as long as 3 months before you see deterioration. Not that is bad, the boots are 50 dollars. They aren't meant to last forever. They are not military grade obviously. I consider it a good purchase.

I was in the U.S. Army for 8 years and wore out quite a few pairs of name brand combat boots, from what I've experienced so far these jungle boots are fairly comparable to Altama, they are panama sole boots though, these wear out faster than others, its just how it is, the sole is made for mud, not asphalt and sidewalks, this is the same if you spend 200 bucks on a pair or 25... These are miles and miles better than my initial Rothco jungle boots for sure though, they are unexpectedly comfortable and break in was just a one day process (broke them in Army style, filled them up with hot bathtub water and let them soak till they drained themselves, then put them on and went on a long walk, then wore them till that night, this makes the leather form to your foot in a pretty pain free way compared to having blisters for 2 weeks breaking a pair in dry. As the name might imply though they are very wide, I'm not a fan of that part but my research determined that was the most quality for the least price, but they do move around on my foot on the sides, not a deal killer but a slight inconvenience none the less. If you're considering them I would recommend to go for it, you will not be disappointed, I was actually quite shocked, I expected far less in the quality and robustness categories.

Find some foam insoles for yourself and put them in the boots for best use. Have worn these in for about 2 weeks now and while there are some creases and wrinkles, I expected it for the price. I fully expect these to last 3+ years like my last jungle boots very rugged and tough for casual use. 8/10 would recommend/buy again

Received April 3rd, fit great, were comfortable, loved the look, was my everyday shoe. unfortunately, it is now coming apart at the seams of the soles. Toe end of right foot is coming off and the center is coming apart from the shoe as well. It is now june 28th. So just shy a bit of only 3 months. Disappointed as they seamed absolutely perfect at first. Cant afford new ones at the moment so will attempt to use glue for now till i have the money available. Should be noted that i am a heavy man, over 300lbs, i used them every day at work, and some weekends doing remodeling on a project house, so i did put them to heavy work. But still, kinda hoped they would last longer. Good while they lasted .

I purchased these as a replacement for my old military jungle boots. They are high quality and the appearance is outstanding. They polish up very nicely. The upper portion is a little stiffer than my old boots but that is a plus in my opinion. They dry out just as quickly as my old ones did. They appear to be very well constructed. The sole is the same traction pattern as my old ones so I’m not worried about traction issues. They go on and off easily and are easy to tie.

So some day I hope you will start being honest. And stop sending things that are broken or to short or doesn't last a hole 2 weeks because it was made crappy. So peaple please don't order anything from Amazon. Because they dragged me in with a good credit limit. And then lowered it so low. Everything I ordered got declined. So I will never order anything from Amazon again. It's a lie on most items. And gets broken in the first 2 weeks. Or when it gets here it doesn't even match the picture. It's wrong all the time. And I reported this and no one answered me back. So apparently they are going to rip me off with this item. Pretty bad when you wear them less than 3 days and it ripped right by the heel.

The sizing seems correct. They definitely do not keep water out. They are not supposed to. I recommend adding mesh style "breathable" sole padding to allow air flow in and out of the boot for drying purposes.
