I'm still going to give this a good review. The "lederhosen" look good. The item worked for the activity. However, it was missing the hat. My son got the shirt, the lederhosen, and some (very thin but usable) socks. No hat. Still, as a costume goes, it was really pretty decent. I'm just not sure what to do about the missing hat. I hate to send it back just for that, but it also was supposed to come with the costume.

Wore it for a themed party and everyone loved it. Knocked off one star because the shoulder straps wouldn’t stay put. Had to keep adjusting them. Other than that, thumbs up!

Overall: Good costume that I will re-use as my Halloween costume this year. Bought for an Ocktober Fest celebration with friends. Good: Kit comes with everything, just iron the shirt and cloth lederhosen, then you are good to go. The shirt is comfier than you think; I'll be wearing it more often just because. The Lederhosen have two side pockets to hold stuff (but you will probably want to wear shorts to carry things. Bad: The lederhosen straps are very long. A size XL costume has straps that would fit comfortably for someone in the 6'5" range. I'm 6'3" and there was significant slack on the closet setting for the straps. You will want to do some sowing to make sure the suspenders an keep the lederhosen up.
