I ordered size 8, fit is good. The smell you read about are the rubber soles. I threw the boxes in the garbage. They look a little bulky, but fit is good and comfortable. I would recommend them...I expect them to break in nicely.

I bought these for my husband as a gift. We are a one income household so i was so happy when i cane across them. He really liked them and received compliments at work. They did have a strange leather/plastic smell but I sprayed some freeze inside them &placed in front of a fan for a day . Other than that the color and style is great and the price was better.

These shoes look nice and are very affordable. I actually got them for my son since he is hard on shoes, and they don't usually last long. They aren't especially well made, but they do fit well and are comfortable. Unfortunately, they came out of the box smelling like burnt rubber/chemicals. I have left them to air out for almost a week and the smell isn't going away. I may try to wash them.

I'm reviewing the pointed toe shoes in black. Both of the shoes have a nice finish, they're somewhat glossy in person with good detail in the design of the shoe. I think they're representative of what you'd expect to receive. I ordered a size 10 as I normally wear that size in most brands. The shoe fit well including the width of the shoe. They felt fairly comfortable when I tried them on and walked around my house. Since these are "pointed" style shoes, the toe box had plenty of room. I'd say close to 1/2" to 3/4" between my big toe and the tip of the shoe approximately. They do look rather pointed when I wear them. They had a very strong chemical smell though when I received them. The shoe material is listed as PU Leather. PU Leather is polyurethane and is not actually leather, it's a synthetic material used to simulate real leather products. I believe the chemical smell is from the polyurethane material. The intensity of the smell dissipated after 24 hours but was strong enough to be very noticeable throughout most of my house. It's important to understand what you're buying. Since this is a synthetic product, it likely won't last as long as real leather normally does. My use case is for occasional use and I think it'll be fine for that. I like that they felt comfortable immediately and didn't need to be "broken in".
