I took a chance on these with no reviews. I’m glad I did. I do a lot of walking on very hot downtown streets and buildings. I wear a full coat and tie and absolutely will not wear the fashion sneakers that are popular. I’ve seen some colleagues wearing running shoes with coat and tie. I can’t go for that. These are the closest I’ve seen to a dress shoe (or close enough anyway) that feels like a runner. Good leather, well made. They come with regular laces and bungee type. Very happy. Bought a second pair in another color. Definitely a cut (or several) above the standard Chinese knockoffs flooding Amazon. Packaging also shows dedication to quality and detail. NOTE: They are very roomy, I usually buy a 9.5 (I have a [E] wide foot) and I bought a 9 and it is plenty big. ... show more

    • Lots of compliments
Got for a wedding. People commented on the green shoes right away, many compliments. Highly recommend. Of course these are leather, it’s fake leather which doesn’t settle at nice as leather, and doesn’t breathe much. So if you sweat a lot perhaps get a size larger to help with airflow.

    • Lovely shoes but…….
I really love these shoes. Just be aware the olive green is very very dark. At first I was thinking they were all black. I wish the olive had more contrast with the black. They fit good for my needs. Hopefully this helps others to understand the color contrast is very small.
