For the price, they ain't a bad casual dress shoe. For a casual dress shoe they are ok. Style wise they are semi conflicted in what they want to be. Quality wise, they have a rubbery squeak to them as you walk but it does settle down with use. They also have a rubbery look to them that again with use and "polishing" is usable. The laces are very thing and can be easily broken but that is a simple fix. Also changing the laces would allow for a small additional pop of color anyways so I'm not against changing them in the first place. So much of me wants to say they are a 3 but then when you get into the cost of them its a 4. They also, oddly, seem to run about a half a size larger.

I picked these up for my teenage son who is growing by leaps and bounds. These were a tad bit large but that means maybe he can wear these more than once! He liked that they are a dress shoe, but not too formal or uptight. I liked that they are a decent looking shoe that will not break the bank. These can also be cleaned up easily, just wipe clean with a damp micro fiber cloth. The first time he wore them, it rained. His feet stayed dry and his shoes still looked great! They are a comfortable option that looks great with tan or navy chinos, but also looked very nice with his black suit pants that he needs to wear for concert performances. The brown leather patch adds a bit of style to an otherwise basic shoe and the defined tread makes them look less formal. He is currently in a size 11, these run a bit big by comparison, but for us, that is a benefit. Overall, my son is happy, so I am happy!

These are a very sharp looking pair of shoes that work as dress shoes and as casual oxfords. They run a bit large. I usually wear 14 for most of my shoes (Brookes, Nike, Adidas, Doc Martens) but got these in a 13.5 and they fit perfectly. The insoles were nice and had a good cushioning, especially at the heal, They don't have much arch support, so if you like Chuck Taylors or Vans loafers - you'll love these. If you need more arch support, you'll need to get an insert and it will be worth it. The soles don't slip in every day use and I was comfortable on my feet all day. You almost feel barefoot. They eyelets are all steel which is very nice, usually found on work boots and that bodes well for long term durability. Great quality overall, I'm hoping to get a lot of use out of these! Super light & very comfortable shoes. Recommended!
