I needed some dressier looking shoes that were darker for times that I wear darker clothes. These looked super nice in the advertisement and were a great cost, so I figured I would grab them. When they arrived, they looked very nice and the materials were also quite classy. The soul of the shoes are more like tennis shoes and when coupled with the padding inside the shoe makes them very comfortable when standing for long periods of time. That being said, while they fit, the shape of the shoe is very long towards the toe. This creates a weird seam when walking that feels a bit awkward. Overall the shoes are great, but they do hinge pretty close to the ankle in the way they are constructed, so are kind of like wearing boots. But very comfortable boots. I definitely like them, it just took some time to break them in and get used to the slightly different fit.

My hubby ordered 6 different pair of gray dress shoes before Easter. He wanted style and comfort which is tough to find in men's dress shoes. Plenty of room in the toe box without slipping on his heels. He loved these and we returned all the others.

They were undeniably stiff at first, which had me worried. But I decided to give them a fair shot before passing judgment. Interestingly, the very first time I wore them out, my wife complimented my shoe choice. Even then, with the stiffness lingering, I wasn't fully convinced. Since they weren't an everyday shoe, it took a few months to break them in properly. Thankfully, that break-in period paid off. Now, they're a reliable option for work (where I'm on my feet all day) and even double as my "dressy shoes" for travel. The comfort is fantastic, the suede finish has held up beautifully, and the soles offer both great grip and cushioning. Overall, I'm really happy with these shoes.

Any day that my boyfriend can get comfortable AND stylish shoes...he is not going to say no! These are that. They fit great and the style is nice. They can go for a casual look or be worn to work as well. The material looks like it wont be sturdy if it wet, but so far it's good.

These are nicely-fitting, comfortable, leather trimmed shoes, with a shoelace that matches the trim. I’m impressed with the relatively low price point for shoes that have a truly upscale look. They are also capable of going casual with jeans or khakis. Because of the material, unlike many inexpensive shoes, they should not be washed (recent rainstorms in Los Angels have proven them not water repellant so keep them at home on rainy days), so get a leather cleaner and a good brush if they are in need of cleaning. While the arch support is reasonable, if that is a concern for you, these might not be the right shoes. Otherwise it’s nice to have something that can be worn at work as well as on the weekend.
