They are very water resistant and breathable. You can feel the air blowing into them in front of a fan and I just went through a tremendous amount of rain with only a small wet spot on 1 of my sock. Loved this rug so much I bought another! The colors were exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a sea foam green color and this was perfect! Loved the color, design, soft feel, skid resistant backing, and the fact that they are washable! Im very pleased with this rug!
