Originally bought these for a ren faire costume but they're so comfortable you can get away with wearing them around the house! The ankle ties are a nice touch. Sizing is accurate and the fabric itself is opaque and soft. Easy to wash and looks great on!

The pants have weird sizing but I went the recommended size and it fit. It’s odd that that I normally wear a Medium but with these pants I wear a 2XL. The pants are comfortable and have pockets. The fabric is soft but thin. I don’t know if pirates had underwear back in the day but I recommend wearing underpants with them or else your hidden treasures might not be so hidden.

A mix of 5 star look with 1 star quality. So I left it at a three. 5 star look. The colour was deep rich and they felt hardly there at all. Pockets are well hidden I didn't even find them at first. Looks as good as pictured. 1 star for make though. They tore inner seem from calf where they tie to calf. They do not support any type of explosive movements. If you are into Belegarth, HEMA, SCA, or the others I do not partake in these are not good garb for fighting in. Even if the seem held the knees gave way first time I was taken to the ground. So 3 stars as if you are just looking to look good I have 0 compliants. Decently hid pockets, rich colour while looking the material, not to heavy. If you plan to even slightly move these aren't the pants.

I bought a small and they fit snug on a 29” waist. They are loose and comfortable throughout other than a slight tightness at the top of the lacing on my calves, not enough to be uncomfortable. I do have fairly muscular legs (including calves) for my waist size so this isn’t an uncommon problem for me in regular pants. I was able to adjust the laces to account for this and there is only a sliver of skin showing if I move certain ways. I bought these for a renaissance festival outfit so they are more than enough for what I need. The material is thicker than I expected so they may get warm in the heat, TBD. I like the fact that they have pockets and the have a drawstring in case the elastic waist band is still loose. Length-wise I typically buy 30-32” and these pants give me extra length, I’d estimate they are about 34” length.
