For the price, these shoes are great. I am using them as gym shoes for which I think they are perfect. There is zero support in the sides or back, it is just mesh. Not a chance they are water resistant or anything; I do go outside to go from the car to the gym and trekking through the snow or puddles will be interesting. But very breathable for the gym, as I wanted. The bottom does not appear to be rubber or any kind but more of a foam. I don't think they would stand up to rigorous usage but for me, for the gym they are perfect; and couldn't beat the price. ... show more
