I battled with this dress at first. But my conclusion is: The color matters! My measurements are 5’6” 36C 41” Hip 138lbs Slight athletic build. I first chose the royal blue in a size medium. The fit was comfortable but something about it just wasn’t working. The royal blue has more cool undertones than I expected so I decided to return for the wine red in a size small— as I thought maybe if it hugged more around my waist it would look better. Then I received the wine red in small, and it definitely fit snug but the folds of the satin just weren’t laying right. Again the red was more cool toned than a true deep burgundy. So I decided to retry and return for The Brown in a size medium again. BINGO. The fit was perfect, and the color made a world of difference in how the dress flattered me. Overall it’s a sexy, comfortable and elegant dress. When picking a color, pick one that suits your skin tone, hair etc and it will really pop. This is one of the best dresses I've ever bought at any price point. While not made for several washes, it was stunning and looked expensive at the wedding I attended. It needed a good steam but then hung on the body. It was a flattering cut and I felt very confident in the dress. Received a lot of compliments. I'm under 5' so I had to have the bust/torso brought in. However the length wasn't long enough to alter, not sure how it would be on an average height. Downside is having to buy stick on undergarments but it is worth it for the seamless look! Get the dress, you won't regret it! ... show more

Get ready to be complimented all night in this dress- the style and color work so well with this double layered fabric. Now just a little heads up, the under boob sweat will not be hidden if you’ll be under a summer sun, but that was the only place a drop of sweat was shown through. I did wear Cakes thin nipple covers and they stayed in place without being seen. The dress did not require much adjusting through the 10+ hour day. I was initially concerned about the back strap listening but it didn’t need adjusting at all and stayed in place. I operate a dry cleaning business so I did clean and press the dress before the day of the event- and there was no color loss! A little heat and steam and she’s a stunner I tell ya. Even post-event cleaning she came out beautiful. The dress didn’t catch one single snag and had no fabric pulls, the quality is top notch. I had to wash it before the wedding (SELLER: please dbl check the returns) The wedding was the next day so i was desperate and it was still a great dress. This dress is very beautiful. It fits true to size, the color is a little lighter than pictured, and the material is silky and so soft on the inside. It is a very comfortable dress with some extra stretch and really compliments your curves. However, I’m like 99% sure the dress I received was worn and returned. There are a few snag marks on the dress, almost as if it was being worn and caught on concrete. The top part that crosses has some wear and tear to it. The straps are stretched, but luckily not stretched out and the dress smells amazing lol… I took it out of the packaging and it smelled so clean and fresh, you can definitely tell it had been washed. ... show more
