This dress fits me wonderfully! I believe I ordered it in extra large. I could tell by looking at it that it would look good on my body, because I know what I look good in and what I do not look good in. You could not see through the fabric because it was well-made with a lining under it. It was very appropriate for the occasion I was attending, which was family photos. So you could dress it up or dress it down. I actually wore a faux fur shawl around it, and it just elevated the look. The weight of the fabric was a little heavy, which was okay with me because I am cold natured, so, that didn’t bother me at all. If you’re looking for a dressy, not too dressy dress, this is the dress for you. I have 100% recommended!

Good quality fabric, it's thick, soft and comfortable. The cut would be flattering on all sizes and body shapes. My only complaint is it runs a little large. I ordered an XL and am on the higher end of the XL weight range. The area around the chest and the straps were a bit loose but I was able to make it work.

My body specs are 41 x 35 x 51, 5’7.5, ~220lb, size 14/16, bra size 38C. I ordered the XL and it is pretty dang big. The top is super flappy and pretty sure a push up bra would not fix it. But when I say this dress *feels good*….i mean it. The fabric is thick like a super nice pair of sweatpants or super silky crew neck sweatshirt. I’d feel secure even if I weren’t wearing shapewear. Not see-through at all. But super heavy and maybe not a great summer dress. The hip details are insanely beautiful, evenly pleated, and so flattering. The front bodice is super slimming against the hip detail contrast. This won’t work for the event I need it for but I’m considering ordering a large just to try and keep it on hand if I end up loving it (which I think I might…)

Worth all the money and spent and I need another color. It’s simple enough to style casually if anyone is worried about over dressing, Don’t! Some flats and a shawl will be just fine. If you’re worried about how to dress up. Heels, some flashy jewelry and maybe some faux fur or sparkly shawl. The accessories are what defines this look while also creating a great classy base.☺️ also thick fabric no wrinkles and the size is lovely for short people. I got a small. I’m 5’3 and 130 pounds. It fit slightly roomy but I plan to gain weight so it’s fine.

The quality of this dress is amazing. The design is not quite as the photo. The waist pleating is higher up on the torso which makes it somewhat unflattering (in black), made me look and feel very wide. Straps are thinner than in photo as well.
