    • BEST TOYS EVER!!!!
I got these magnet paper dolls for my nieces when they were 1 and 2, knowing they'd one day grow into them. They did play with them then, but as the years passed, they've come to love those best out of all the toys I've bought them. These dolls are the first toys they ask for when they come over (then followed the Melissa & Doug doctor/dentist kit). Now that they're 3 & 4, they use them to act out stories. When my second niece was 1, I played it with her to make sure he didn't eat the magnets. To my surprise, she didn't. Most pieces are a good size. I have another niece (1) now, who I do keep the magnets away from (though I let her play with the dolls) because she puts things in her mouth. Anyhow, I love these dolls. I got them the ballerina's first (most of the pieces are bigger than the other dolls), and then added the two girls package and boy. I also got them the little ones that have different job clothes (astronauts, police, fire-person, soccer player, fast food, construction worker, doctor, and many more) .     • Great toy, small parts — be careful!
Another great Melissa & Doug product at an affordable price. I got these for a couple of kids in the 6-8 range in my life, and so far they’ve been a hit. Some pieces are very, very small, so be really careful with younger kids and/or anyone who likes to “taste test” their toys. lol The boy and girl stand up figures are maybe 4”, and though they’re sturdy they’re on the small side, as well. This might make a good travel toy because it’s compact, but, you might lose a bunch of pieces. The plastic bag/case it comes in does not seal fully at the top, so you may need a different container to store these in (especially if taking them anywhere). ... show more

    • Used to be called “build and imagine”
These used to be sold under the Name “build and imagine”. It looks like Melissa and Doug bought them out and have just rebranded them. They work with our other sets. Basically there’s a little metal inside the person figure and then the clothes are magnets that stick on. High quality printing on the magnet (not just paper). My kids 3.5y and 6y use them to play with their doll furniture, magnatiles and whatever else for their imagination. They don’t use the backboard much. ... show more

My daughter really enjoyed playing this for “career week”. Some pieces are teeny tiny so she needs my help often to find particular pieces or to get the magnets apart

    • Magnet clothes stick but very poorly.
My 5 YO was very disappointed. Too bad I purchased it this summer and cannot return. M & D is really hit or miss these days. :-(

    • Love these for travel!
We love Melissa and Doug brand but these are beyond great! They keep the kids busy for hours on end. We have a 3 and 6 year old who love them. But they do have tiny pieces that need to be kept away from babies.
