They are worth the price—they are comfortable and sturdy—they fit perfectly—they have held up beautifully in the time I have had them—unfortunately they do show spots and water splashes-but I only wear around the house so this is not a deal breaker for me. I would recommend treating them with some sort of protectant—I will the next time around-but I suspect it will be a while before I need a new pair!

These are warm, easy to get on and off, and the wool is thick enough and provides enough cushion that they’re pretty comfortable even with plantar fasciitis. They are wonderful during the deep winter “polar vortex” periods when the temps go ridiculously low. For all of those considerable advantages, the soles do NOT have good traction and you have to be extremely careful if there’s any snow on the ground. Snow can sometimes provide a bit of traction in regular sneakers but these soles are slippery and can be treacherous even when it’s just snow and no ice. Also, if you’re not used to thick soles, be alert and take care on stairs or uneven terrain. It can take some getting used to. To summarize, these are wonderful when the temperatures plunge and it’s essentially dry outside or if it’s just rain. (They’re wonderful for inside use too; not quite slippers but close enough). Just be careful if there’s snow, as the outsoles get very slippery. I got a pair of these for an elderly family member who struggles to keep warm and she loves them for the warmth, but I warned her to avoid them and just stick with her usual winter boots if there’s any snow on the ground.

Comfort: Thick, soft, warm, real sheepskin. Size: I usually wear a 9.5, sometimes a 9. I bought the Mel&Syd slipper in size 9 and it fits great. The heel does slip a bit, but I do not wear socks with them, and it is a slipper. Quality: I have a pair of Ugg boots from 2003, and I still wear them. That was when UGG Australia sold in the US. I believe Bearpaw purchased the UGG franchise to sell in US, and now they are made in China and Vietnam. The quality is gone gone. Thin suede, poor stitching, and not real sheepskin. UGG Australia is not able to sell in the US, because of this deal. These slippers, are thicker suede, with great stitching, and the sheepskin is fabulous! I also bought the boots!

Very good quality. As others have said they have narrow openings at the top. Some advised to go up a size in my case I took this advice but went up half size more because they don’t offer half sizes. I fear that was a mistake

I usually take a wide, but thought, these are slippers, they will stretch! I legit could not get my foot into this tiny tight slipper. I managed halfway in and already got my circulation cut off. I had a previous pair of different similar slippers from another brand, that I wore until I put holes in the - I love them so much - but the model was discontinued and I thought these looked identical. Unwearable. I’m so sad.
