I’m 5’5 197 lbs and ordered an Xl it fit like a glove! I have a size 38DD bra. Top is a little tight, but it’s fine because no bra is needed! Material is nice and lightweight! I ordered the white , just make sure to wear nude or white undergarments.

Im 5'4" 140 lbs and smaller chested. The medium fit perfect. Very soft light flowy fabric. Beautiful. Short of a 5 for me just due to needing a different option for a bra since you can see through the top part due to the pretty lace design. Would be nice if it came with built in breast liners. Visble bra straps would look tacky. I'll experiment with strapless or stick on bras or sewing in my own liners. ... show more

I had to buy this dress twice. I measured but didn't originally take into account the stretchiness of the dress material. I'm 5'3, 147lbs, and a 31.5' waist with a bust size of 36.5. Hip-size measurements were really unnecessary with this dress. The length is perfection! I originally ordered a medium, but went back and ordered the small and will wear the small, but I'm keeping the medium in case I ever need to size up because this dress looks amazing on! The material felt nice, and there were no imperfections that I saw in the dress design, I purchased the petticoat to dress it up, and the petticoat is a one-size deal, and the band around the waist is elastic on that, so I think it's probably pretty forgiving for any sized waist. I got the black color in the dress, and it's very appropriate for either a wedding, a dinner party, a formal dance, rehearsal dinner or any other special event, although if wearing to a funeral, perhaps don't wear the petticoat since the petticoat makes the dress look more formal, especially depending on how you dress it up with accessories (i.e. jewelry, an elastic belt, etc...). I have nude, wedge heels and they looked amazing with this dress for a summer, outdoor wedding look which also sort of creates a slender-line look when paired with this dress, imo. Conservative pearl accessories with gold accents look amazing with it as well. [Note: I'm a female who purchases for our family via my husband's account. I try to write reviews on things I purchase for him specifically although he isn't always as descriptive on what he likes about something as I am. I know the ladies trying to find things to wear struggle to get the right thing as it's hard when you can't try it on first, so I hope I covered all the bases that'll help make decision making easier in that regard]. ... show more

This dress is so absolutely comfortable. My daughter is 12 and has lots of sensory issues. It is dressy enough not too fancy but can can definitely be dressed up. The lace is comfortable the inside is soft and stretchy. Highly recommend. True to size

Reviews seemed to be mixed on the fit so in the end, I just went by the size chart and ordered my normal size, medium. I'm of average size and weight. When this dress arrived, it was packed in a little plastic bag but came out without a wrinkle and it was a perfect fit! It's just a little stretchy so there's some flexibility on the fit.
