Perfect knight breastplate and mask! It came with 2 sets so this was perfect for my 10 and 8 year old sons to play with. One was silver and gold and the other black and silver. The material seems durable and the sets look realistic.

    • Worth the price, but needs minor alteration for adult
I bought this set for a costume party event where I am making a half knight, half something else costume. The masks are a soft, flannel like material and comfortable with an elastic strap around the back. The chest plate is a bendable plastic, but sturdy. Much sturdier than I thought for the price. The sizing of the chest plate works for an adult; however, the strands to put it on are more for a child or teenager. I am a 5' 4 1/2" tall female. Whether I wore the chest plate to the back or the front, it rode up very high because the elastic straps were too short. They go over your shoulder and under your arm pit. I found that I could safety pin additional length with a matching black string and it worked fine. There is a place to lace the straps through, so you can tighten them if your measurements were a bit off. The reason I thought it would work as an adult is that the virtual model in the images is an adult, not a child. Even with having to make the adjustment, well worth the price paid. ... show more

These are so fun! They come in a good packaging for safe shipment. They are heavy plastic (no sharp edges) and include a soft mask so you can have it out with another knight. They are not intended for adults because they are on the small side. I suppose smaller adults could wear them. But the plastic is easy to bend and twist while retaining its shape. Great for kids to clash in formal medieval jousts or crusades or combat. You could also use it for Dungeons and Dragons or just about any imaginative play you'd like. ... show more

I got this armor for middle school reader’s theater. They are okay. As a slim adult, they fit me okay. The masks are super cheap and uncomfortable. The straps on the breastplates don’t look like they will last long. Larger students will also struggle to get them on. I like the look of the breastplate but that’s it. Pro -nice look -could fit slim adult Con -straps don’t seem sturdy -face masks are creepy and uncomfortable ... show more

    • Double the trouble for smaller sized knights
These were ordered for costuming our upcoming renaissance-era musical. I wasn't expecting much for the relatively low price point, and I'm happy to report that the actual product exceeded my expectations by a mile. My thoughts: -lightweight but sturdy construction-these breastplates will survive through weeks of intensive rehearsals and performance nights without issue -As shared in the listing, the plastic body armor can be twisted without breaking. I appreciate that it can withstand any fight choreography, a must for our costume closet purposes -NOT one size fits most: the actual body pieces are on the small side. They'll fit my smaller high school performers just fine, but reconsider before buying this for a larger sized adult. -the head shield is meant to stay on the head with a large white elastic loop on the back, which takes away from any attempt at realism onstage. I suspect we will either ditch the head armor altogether or have our actors wear them on the top of their head and not covering their faces. All in all? These fit our purposes and the overall quality exceeded our expectations. We'd budgeted twice this amount for one single set of faux body armor, so to get two sets at a much lower price is a win in my book. ... show more

So great for play or costume. The armor is thicker than I expected. It’s not paper or cardboard. It’s very well made for dress up. Fits most littles with minor adjustments. They definitely will not easily break or tear. Can be folded and bounce back. Colors are realistic.

Great pretend play item. My only grievance is that the bumps on the breastplate are sharp - it's hard to take a picture of it, but I tried. However, we love everything else. We are learning the armor of God and these were great for our breastplate and helmet (we can make the other items as a craft). The quality of the plastic is really great - I don't think it's going to break even with rough play. The adjustable straps are good too, it would be nice if they added a small clip in the back to help hold it it on - because it does fall off easily even after making adjustments. The helmet is perfect - it's lightweight, great eye placement, great elastic placement & hold. The details are also really nice. ... show more

These are better quality than I expected, the masks are like flannel but thick, which is nice because they are soft and comfy. Good for plays, skits, even Halloween!
