Features

  • Port SizeThe three-stage air filter has three ports, two holes of 1/2" NPT and one Gauge Port 1/4" NPT. Capable of smooth operation in the range of 0-240PSI with auto drain.
  • Stage 1-Regulator/FilterThe knob has a locking function that prevents it from being turned when pressed, ensuring accuracy and safety during use. The filter is fitted with a 5 micron cartridge which effectively filters out 95% of particles and water from the air.
  • Stage 2-Coalescing FilterIt is equipped with a 0.01 micron filter that effectively removes up to 99.98% of water and impurities. There is a visual window at the top which automatically pops up a green indicator when the filter needs changing.
  • Stage 3-Desiccant Air DryerThis is a metal bowl filled with desiccant beads which will absorb the last of the moisture and impurities in the air. When the desiccant beads in the metal bowl turn from blue to pink, this indicates that the desiccant beads need to be replaced.

I purchased 2 of the 1/2 four module offerings. Quality Control was Non-Existant over them. When I put the units together, I found multiple air leaks, and these had obviously never been tested at the factory. The biggest leaks were in the sight windows. What I I initially thought was writing on the inside around the screws was actually stress cracking. The fasteners were put in too tight (maybe someone using an impact driver on something with a sensitive torque limit?) on both units and had fractured the windows. Air was coming out of several modules in both sets. I think the entry port on the regulator was slightly overbored and might have been leaking but it's really hard to tell with how much air was blowing around. The quick connect coupling was total garbage, but I'm assuming most people wouldn't be using that one, anyhow. I had previously purchased the 3/4 version, and returned it because it's really just a 1/2 version with an overbored entry/exit. That provides no real benefits over the 1/2 for airflow, etc., and just prevents you from changing modules later, etc. Avoid that version, too! ... show more

This is my review of MEANLIN 3/4" NPT Heavy Duty Industrial Grade 3 Stage Air Drying System. This is a great air dryer system for my wood shop. I installed it to cover all the air needs. It comes with 2 sets of filters both particulate and coalescing. It also includes 4 bags of desiccant; it takes 1 1/2 bags to fill the third filter canister. The instructions are clear and thorough making It easy to assemble and install in my air system. The filters are efficient as I do not have any particulate coming out of the air nozzle now. The regulator seems accurate compared to the one on the compressor itself. I was able to find replacement desiccant and particulate filters easily for future replacement but am finding it more difficult to find the Coalescing filter that matches the style included. It may not have to match the shape if the threads are the same. I will keep looking, I just wanted to mention this for future buyers to be aware of. I find this filter system functions as described and it has met my expectations, therefore I am rating it 4 stars. ... show more

I got this to replace a regulator/filter setup that I had been using for more than 20 years. This is much higher quality, filters better and adjusts easier. It also removes moisture better. It took me a bit to remove my old setup and then match the connections to this one but once connected it worked great. It is a very reasonable price. ... show more

Using both participant and desiccant filters this unit produces completely dry air on my shop air system. I use my compressor frequently and so far my desiccant hasn’t discolored at all. An excellent and affordable filter option.

I have a few of these around my shop where I plug in different air driven equipment. This is great to dry out the air that I use in my blasting cabinet. The desiccant will have to be changed in time but if I can extract enough of the moisture out of my air in the first two stages of this it should last for awhile before I have to change the desiccant. I take my spent desiccant and spread it out into my microwave oven and cook it for awhile until it's dry. The color returns to blue and I can reuse it. ... show more

I ordered this new three-stage air dryer to go with the new scroll compressor I'm waiting to have delivered. Since the compressor isn't here yet I can't mount and try the dryer yet, but it appears to be of decent quality and a nice solid unit. It will be interesting to see how long the desiccant lasts in this semi-arid Utah climate. If I run into any issues with this product I'll come back and edit my review, otherwise no news is good news. Happy with it so far. ... show more
