First off I want to say that I do love the product. I love the pink color and it feels great and I'm paranoid about burning my lips but I still want some color there so this is great. BUT, when I opened the amazon pack, the box was a little crushed. No big deal. Then it look like the lipstick inside had been scraped as it wasn't new-smooth. No biggie, I'll just cut off the first 1/8 inch. THEN, when I twisted the lipstick up to cut off the tip, it wasn't connected to the twisty think in the tube and wouldn't go down. I have to push it with my finger. Super annoying. I'm about to go on vacation and I'm taking this lipstick. But, I'm letting people know that for a $25 lip balm, it could be problematic. Of course, I'm going to order another one in another color when I'm home, because I apparently like the potential abuse. If it's damaged again, I'll definitely return it.

This lip balm is very moisturizing, lasts for a couple hours and doesn’t transfer too easily. It has no taste or smell. The spice shade is more intensely pigmented than most tinted lip balms but less than a lipstick, whereas the blush shade is barely noticeable on my lips. It’s been very difficult to find the perfect tinted spf lip balm, since many of the mineral based ones like Coola are dry in texture. Sun bum is nice but transfers way too easily and doesn’t last long. Neutrogena’s has a beautiful berry shade and a great texture but isn’t broad spectrum for some reason. This MDSolarSciences balm has been the best product I’ve tried. My only complaint is the high price.

The gloss does not go down and you have to push it with your finger. I find this super annoying and probably would not buy this product again just because of that. The tube itself is made of cheap plastic. For the price this company needs to make improvements on the tube so the product can be used appropriately.
