This works well with my Olympus 2.8 40-150. Excellent for stadium shooting with little loss in quality.

I bought this to use with my Olympus mft 40-150mm Pro and my 90mm Pro macro lenses. Superb image quality!

  • Good companion with 40-150 PRO

I sold my Olympus 75-300 ii and bought this newly released teleconverter to use with my Olympus 40-150 Pro. It is mainly used at the 150mm end to shoot bird and small animals without tripod. My own experience tells, adding this teleconverter doesn’t feel impacting C-AF and S-AF speed, but C-AF with Tracking is slower. Image quality wise I don’t think comparing adding it vs without it on the same Pro lens makes a lot of sense (obviously not as good as) but comparing to the 300mm/f6.3 of 75-300ii the comb of 40-150 pro and mc20 is better even at wide open f5.6. This is what I think the true beauty of this teleconverter - save the space for carrying another super telescope lens ... show more
