This electronic door lock is totally awesome. Installed very easily, just be sure to measure the thickness of your door, and be prepared to drill two new holes in the door (in my case I was replacing an existing door lock vs. a first time lock install which would require several holes to be drilled in addition to the two holes I mention.). This electronic door lock has some awesome features such as the finger print reader and the guest code, not to mention the Android App from which you can program the lock via you android smart phone. Says it works with iPhone also. Because I was only replacing an existing door lock the install only took about 30 minutes, I took my time and went slow because I wanted to be very careful. Anyway I love this electronic door lock.

The build of the case and handle is completely fine, I have absolutely no problems with that, but the locking mechanism started to fail after 2 weeks of use. After that point the codes and finger prints would be accepted, but the door would not unlock. The installation was difficult because of a very loose piece where the square rod connects through the bolt. The reason I think the lock failed was the plastic pieces used in the locking mechanism, and they looked cheep. When we tried to use the app it was poorly designed. It was almost impossible to figure out how to add and manage codes, and when you wanted to re-lock the door after unlocking it from the app it would have to unlock and wait to lock again, but managing fingerprints was fine. There was no way to lock and unlock the door from the inside, you would have to lock it from the outside by unlocking it, or doing it from the app. When you add someone to the lock the user has to have an account which makes no sense, and when the person trying to unlock the door from the app it would not unlock. I would not suggest this lock to anyone until these issues can be fixed.

The media could not be loaded. It was very confusing to set up and navigate through the app, eventually we got it to work and we used it for about 1 1/2 months and now the scanner for the fingerprint completly stopped working and it wont register. I tried cleaning it, and resetting the whole thing, still nothing. I can only get in now with the code or the key. Also I bought this for my dad originally and the app does not work on his android, so only I can work the app on my phone.

The media could not be loaded. This door handle is amazing. Its good looking, my door look very high tech now. You can open through the apps, by code, or with your fingerprint, the door response is fast. The door is heavy and rigid. Easy to install, you just need 2 extra holes in your door. But just a little advice to the seller, please be sure all your item that sent to the customer is working properly, I have to order replacement order twice because the spring on the inside (interior) handle is not working and there is no feedback when I crank it. But everything is solved and now everything is perfect.

Lock came earlier than I expected. It surprised me how heavy is the lock. The quality of this is great; it's big with a nice "touchscreen" numerical keypad (different from your standard lock).l,touch pad might get some fingerprints On. the handle it also has fingerprints open function,also it came with mechanical key,since the lock is bigger than other door locks.it is little hard to install because you have to drill a new hole on the steel door.overall I'm satisfied the order.

Piece of junk didn’t work rite out of the box. Installed it anyway like a fool. 2 days later looked me out of the house. No power the battery back up (usb c in the front) did not work. Ended up using a crow bar to bust the lock to get in. 118 dollars down the drain.

This was a pain to install and won’t accept fingerprints which makes it pointless. It has locked me out several times now and I’ve had to reset everything.

First of all, I love this lock. Installation was moderately easy and I’m an avid DIYer. It is convenient to have the fingerprint but here in lies the issue. My 7 year old son said he could pick it if he had my fingerprint on a piece of tape. He loves police shows. I thought no way! I put my fingerprint on a piece of 2 inch scotch tape and bam, the lock opened. I put my fingerprint on the mirror and lifted the print with another piece of tape and bam, the lock opened. I’m not saying this is the most used way of theirs to gain access to a door, but it most certainly was a disappointment my 7 year old was able to get passed the lock in 2 minutes flat.
