Being fair I was definitely skeptical of this "tooth repair" kit.. So far with expectations that it's a temporary fix it's actually pretty good and easy to use and seems fairly solid after day one... It is a challenge getting the resin to set exactly where you want and keeping it dry for 5min can be a channeling task but once it dries it does feel solid and should last a week or 2 easily Who it's for *Temporary cosmetics fix for a event * filling in a gap in theeth *Prior filling fell out (temp replacement) Who it's not for *Someone looking for a permanent fix of a tooth *Don't have patience to test and work on best results *Can't follow instructions Final thoughts for me at least I see this as more of a "make-up kit" for your teeth and just like make-up a woman wears it's only temporary and should be taken as that because you will replace and fix prior work fairly often but it does the job for those of us that can't afford a $3k+ tooth extraction and repair For me so far day 1 results are good and I will update in the near future Update: first week!! Awesome results it takes time to properly mix and set but once set properly the results even in front teeth where a large amount of pressure and use its really solid and works well Update week 3: This stuff is awesome I have had a front tooth repair and a moler that was broke to the gum line that I repaired 2 weeks ago and they are still in place and I have actually was able to completely chew ice on the right side of my mouth for the first time in 15 years and the repair is still perfectly in place. This stuff works and is definitely worth a try and can be a true game changer for some and at least a good standby option for anyone who may need a good temporary (few weeks maybe more) A few tips that helped me get better longer lasting results 1.do repairs about 15min before you go to bed (most important step) 2. Brush your teeth about 30min before you apply the repair 3. Follow mixing steps but be prepared to make adjustments for consistency and amount needed 4. Have a few napkins that you can dry the area in your mouth a few seconds before applying the paste 5. After mixing and giving a few seconds for the mixture to become just hard enough to be like playdough or bubble gum the best way to apply is with your fingers 6. After you apply to the tooth have a 5min timer set on your phone and start it and just stand there and make sure the area stays dry (it's hard the first few attempts) 7. about 15min after application the repair will be solid enough for you to get ready for bed I recommend a few napkins by your bed to gently keep the tooth repair dry as you go to sleep 8. Wake up the next morning and you should be good to go the mixture will definitely be solid and after a few attempts you will get it exactly how you want it This stuff works and gets rock hard if you use it correctly!!! apply it successfully!!! And keep it dry enough to cure properly..

I love this product but there are two minor downsides that I will write at the very end. I've been going through major dental work for 9 months now, getting implants, veneers, the whole nine yards on all of my upper and lower teeth. In that process you have to wear temps until your final veneers / implants are ready. Sometimes you have to do a second round of temps. Well, I had tons of problems with the front temps breaking off at different times. I wasn't biting down on food, it was all about the chewing, no matter how careful I was. If the dentist puts them in too firmly, they take literally hours to drill out, so they warn you not to bite off food with them; just chew with your back teeth. Despite being very careful, I had many break off and Dentemp DID NOT do the job! It shouldn't even be sold, in my opinion. It's one thing to have a temp break off at home, but I'd be at work or out to dinner and it would pop out. It was extremely aggravating and stressful. They never, ever lasted with that stuff. I don't know why mastermedi didn't come up on my first search for "strong dental cement" back in September but it came up last week and what a world of difference!! Don't even waste your time with anything else unless you only need it to last a short time and you don't expect to eat during that time. I didn't have that luxury. My dentist is in my home state of NJ but I work in NY so getting to her was not an immediate option. And nevermind when it happened on a Saturday and they were already closed until Monday! I used mastermedi on two caps, one on each side of my mouth so chewing affected both of them. They didn't budge! It costs way more than Dentemp but you also get a lot of product. Which actually brings me to my first negative comment... 1) mastermedi, why so much product? You can cut the amount in half, sell it for half the price, and people would still have product left over. I'm sure the price is off-putting for some people. I HIGHLY doubt there are that many people going through the nightmare I went through and would need it as much as I did. And even then, I probably only needed half the amount, despite all of the broken temps I was dealing with before I could make it to the dentist's office for a professional re-glue. Because the product is so good, you only need one application! I might not even go to my dentist for a professional re-glue. I think these will actually last until my scheduled appointment at the end of the week. 2) In my opinion, the instructions should have the user discard the first drop of the liquid. For me, it came out gloppy and wasn't a very large drop. Never using it before, I didn't know it wasn't right but my first attempt on the two broken temps didn't take and it occurred to me that the liquid might not have been a correct measurement. Sure enough, the second try was a much bigger and more liquid-y drop and my temps haven't budged through dinner and breakfast. (People reading this, please note that you still should not take a bite of food using the temps. Even the professionally glued temps can't withstand that. It's usually basic chewing that breaks them so biting into something certainly won't hold up.)

I have a root canal on my front tooth and after six years, the cap just came out. There’s nothing to support it, the posting that was there apparently broke. I was basically told by a dentist that I need an implant. I cannot afford that at all right now so I needed something, I needed a miracle. The only reason I got this product was because of the reviews because there were so many other options. But I am so happy to report that it is working so far. I was a little concerned because I wasn’t sure that it was gonna work. I tried mixing it twice and it looked nothing like the video. I went ahead and took what I was able to create and place it on the crown I placed the crown on the remaining tooth in my mouth and it held instantly it’s not been that long just a couple of days but the fact that it’s not wiggling anymore and I can talk without filling it move. Makes me feel a lot better. I know it’s not gonna be permanent I’m hoping it will last at least until I can go to the dentist and that unfortunately won’t be for a couple of months. But this product gets 5 stars from me!

Its been two months since I applied my front tooth crown that came off with this product...The stuff my dentist used didn't last me getting out of the parking lot before it popped off..I mixed the ingredients as instructed then held pressure to the tooth for a few minutes... For two months this tooth has not budged an inch..I eat with it and even cracked crab claws with the tooth but it won't move....My problem is I'm supposed to get a root canal and new crown tomorrow morning but I'm not sure even the dentist can remove it...so in my opinion if you are looking for what might be a long time solution this is definitely for you!!

This is advertised as a “temporary” adhesive for caps/crowns. It is not. Oh, my GOSH is it not. I used this product 4 days prior to a dental appointment to reattach the loose crown. I fitted the crown correctly, but as this material cured it pushed the crown into a bad position, leaving me unable to chew, bite down, or even speak properly. I know the crown was seated properly, but just a couple hours later it was WAY out of alignment. Just afterwards, my dentist moved my appointment up to the following day. I was a bit concerned, but felt she could easily loosen the crown. Turns out - she couldn’t loosen it. She tried EVERY TOOL, including some weighted apparatus designed to break the bond. She eventually had to cut the crown loose, which will cost me her labor plus the cost of a new crown. 1. This is NOT a ‘temporary’ fix. It is a ‘semi-permanent’ adhesive with much the same qualities as epoxy. 2. The written instructions say to use “one drop” of liquid with one measure of powder. That’s what I did. Yet, the instructional video shows a LOT more than one single drop of fluid being used. I can’t know for sure, but I think the disparity between written and visual instruction may have caused my situation. 3. This stuff is NOT a temporary fix easily removed. It is intended for a MUCH longer period, so bear that in mind if you’re looking for just a few days of hold prior to going to your dentist. 4. If you mess up the crown’s alignment, you’re STUCK WITH IT for a very long time. 5. The manufacturer supplies no help for removing the adhesive because I suspect they don’t know and/or don’t care. I DO NOT recommend this product. I VERY HIGHLY do not recommend this product.

I purchased this product after a temporary crown fell off only 2 days after the dentist placed it. The dentist was unable to reset it for 3 days, so I ordered the Eugenol Dental kit. The instructions were clear and simple. I reset the crown myself and it has been almost a week with no signs of the temporary crown loosening or coming off. I'm confident that I can wait the remaining week before my permanent crown is placed. I have extensive dental work and constantly worry about a bridge or crown falling off, especially when on vacation. I now have peace of mind knowing that I am covered should I lose another crown or a bridge. This produce is a Godsend!

After being extremely clumsy and banging my front tooth with an old fashioned Coca Cola bottle, I became very self concision because I literally am so careful with my teeth and have always loved my smile. Now, not so much. The small crack really isn’t that bad but to me is. So I found this stuff and I’ll be completely honest. Don’t listen to the others, find what works for you. I’ve tried to get it right for over one week now and every time, it falls off somehow. Finally what’s working for me is using my fingers to mix the solution and powder and then apply. The hard part is keeping your mouth dry while it dries on your tooth. I recommend waiting at least a good five to ten minutes before starting to talk and be normal again. It may look whiter than your teeth if your teeth aren’t white, but eventually that evens out and blends in. I just applied the stuff about an hour ago and it feels strong and looks great I’ll come back for an update tomorrow

UPDATE: I’ve been using the stuff for about a month on a couple broken front teeth. It starts to chip away a little bit after about 10 to 14 days which is amazing. I didn’t expect it to last that long. It’s bright white for a day or two, but it starts to fade and look more natural. I have still been able to eat with it in but I’m just careful what I eat and how I chew to keep it secure. I highly recommend giving this a shot if you’re in need of a quick fix. It’s helped me smile and eat without worry while I save for treatment. ******************* Dental issues are never fun. They can be painful and embarrassing. I have been unable to see a dentist and had a couple teeth crack and break off. I have tried other products like dentemp to fill the holes with very little success. I took a desperate chance and THIS STUFF WORKS! I’ve had it in for a few days now and it’s. I’m actually amazed that it’s held so well. It’s not a permanent solution but for anyone like me who needs something until can get to a dentist, it is a lifesaver. Takes a bit of practice to get the consistency right and you have to make sure your tooth is dry before applying, but once it’s on it is solid. Not sure how long it will last, but even it needs replacing I feel it’s worth it. You get a lot of product. Money well spent to be able to smile and eat better until I can get a permanent fix. Give it a try.
