  • Actually really good.. get it
Being fair I was definitely skeptical of this "tooth repair" kit.. So far with expectations that it's a temporary fix it's actually pretty good and easy to use and seems fairly solid after day one... It is a challenge getting the resin to set exactly where you want and keeping it dry for 5min can be a channeling task but once it dries it does feel solid and should last a week or 2 easily Who it's for *Temporary cosmetics fix for a event * filling in a gap in theeth *Prior filling fell out (temp replacement) Who it's not for *Someone looking for a permanent fix of a tooth *Don't have patience to test and work on best results *Can't follow instructions Final thoughts for me at least I see this as more of a "make-up kit" for your teeth and just like make-up a woman wears it's only temporary and should be taken as that because you will replace and fix prior work fairly often but it does the job for those of us that can't afford a $3k+ tooth extraction and repair For me so far day 1 results are good and I will update in the near future Update: first week!! Awesome results it takes time to properly mix and set but once set properly the results even in front teeth where a large amount of pressure and use its really solid and works well Update week 3: This stuff is awesome I have had a front tooth repair and a moler that was broke to the gum line that I repaired 2 weeks ago and they are still in place and I have actually was able to completely chew ice on the right side of my mouth for the first time in 15 years and the repair is still perfectly in place. This stuff works and is definitely worth a try and can be a true game changer for some and at least a good standby option for anyone who may need a good temporary (few weeks maybe more) A few tips that helped me get better longer lasting results 1.do repairs about 15min before you go to bed (most important step) 2. Brush your teeth about 30min before you apply the repair 3. Follow mixing steps but be prepared to make adjustments for consistency and amount needed 4. Have a few napkins that you can dry the area in your mouth a few seconds before applying the paste 5. After mixing and giving a few seconds for the mixture to become just hard enough to be like playdough or bubble gum the best way to apply is with your fingers 6. After you apply to the tooth have a 5min timer set on your phone and start it and just stand there and make sure the area stays dry (it's hard the first few attempts) 7. about 15min after application the repair will be solid enough for you to get ready for bed I recommend a few napkins by your bed to gently keep the tooth repair dry as you go to sleep 8. Wake up the next morning and you should be good to go the mixture will definitely be solid and after a few attempts you will get it exactly how you want it This stuff works and gets rock hard if you use it correctly!!! apply it successfully!!! And keep it dry enough to cure properly.. ... show more

  • Wow! Zero regrets - Updated
I had a back molar break off. I had no idea I even had a cavity there until it happened a week ago. I was hesitant to spend $40 on something that may or may not work and based on some of the not so great reviews. I followed the instructions. One scoop of powder, divide it in half on the paper they provided. Put one drop of liquid on one half of the powder (liquid comes out fast), mix it and then mix in the other half of the powder. It can be hard to work with bc it's a small amount and sticks to the plastic stir stick, but I quickly scraped it to the the end and smeared it into gap in my back molar. Then did my best to really pack it on there with the stick and my finger. Then I mixed one more batch and covered it a second time. I'm really amazed with how hard it is once it dries and how well it works. During the first 5 minutes I did not think it was going to work out, I didn't think I mixed it well enough bc I was in a hurry to get it in before it dried but it's been almost a week, it is still there and hard as a rock. I've eaten everything with no issues. No pain and it's not close to breaking off. I'm pretty confident this is long lasting. Also before I put it in I did take a metal tool and try to clean out the cavity the best I could and brushed my teeth a few times. I also rinsed my mouth with peroxide several times for about an hour to make sure make sure it was as clean and bacteria free as possible before I applied it. Before I applied it I used a paper towel to dry the area as much as possible to help it stick to my tooth with minimal moisture. I also tried to keep my mouth open and moisture free as possible so it could dry and harden. I know I need to go to the dentist for a better fix but I really feel like this stuff is just as good as the dentist. And the amount they provide will last forever. Update: it's now the beginning of March and I originally used this in October. It is still fully intact and have had no issues. I did want to make another comment about first use. Message sure to start off with a small amount and add to it if needed bc of you use too much or don't position it right it's going to feel uncomfortable when biting down and hitting the opposite tooth. You want to make sure it connects properly once chewing or biting down bc once it's applied, it's long term and nearly impossible to remove. Go small and packed down and add if needed ... show more

  • Works great
This stuff is amazing. First time I didn't clean and dry tooth well enough and it fell off. Second time it's been in there for over 2months. Easy to use and works as it says. Fantastic stuff. Tons for your money. Does dry whiter so if you have yellow teeth not good for visible areas. Doesn't smell but doesn't taste good. Fantastic product ... show more

  • Pretty darn good . . . but it depends on what you're using it for.
This stuff is pretty darn good . . . and I definitely don't regret buying it as well I highly recommend this product, but it all depends on what you're using it for. Don't be fooled by comment claims that people are making entirely new teeth then eating as normal while those 'teeth' last for months on end because I can tell you from experience that is not the case. I have a bottom, back broken molar that was filled a long time ago and over the years it has deteriorated to the point that the only dentist fix is extracting and replacing it. But I don't have thousands of $s lying around to do that, and that particular molar is the only one I have left on my bottom left jaw and I don't want it pulled, so I happened upon this product after hours of perusing the internet. The first few times of refilling/repairing my broken molar had the filling lasting only a day or two before I had to refill it with more of this dental 'putty' because what I used crumbled away. But that's because the comments that you can start eating as normal again after only an hour or so convinced me that I could. Now, after many uses of this product I fill my molar and it lasts about a week or so WITHOUT ME CHEWING ON THAT SIDE before I need to refill it again. But that's okay with me because it is saving me lots of money. Just be aware that the first few times you use it you will make mistakes in a trial-by-error process, though after that you'll get the hang of it. You take a scoop of powder, cut it in half, apply two drops of the liquid, mix those drops with half the powder for 15 or so seconds, then you mix the rest of it together for 45 or so seconds. After that you have about 30 seconds max to apply it to your tooth and set it/pack it into place before it fully hardens. I've found it easiest to go through this process then after that just take the little 'wad' of putty, place it on my fingertip and apply it directly that way to my tooth instead of using the utensils provided, as this ensures the best packing/coverage of the exposed area of tooth. After that I avoid chewing on that side of my mouth as much as possible because doing so more rapidly deteriorates this temporary dental putty (one of the main reasons why I bought this stuff was the sharp, broken edges of my molar were constantly cutting into the inside of my cheek, and this stuff fixes that problem really well really fast). Pretty much I now have to reapply the putty to my molar around once per week, maybe even a little longer. I WISH there was a permanent bonding version of this available instead of this temporary solution, but I guess that's what paying big bucks to the dentist is actually for. All in all I still definitely recommend this product, but be aware that people claiming they've fixed their teeth, or even created entirely new teeth, then eat as normal while this stuff lasts for months is simply untrue. Don't get me wrong, I am glad I discovered and use this product (I actually bought a second 'back-up' kit about two weeks after buying and using the first), but it is in no way a permanent fix. I gave it four stars because it doesn't last nearly as long as described, but it does an amazing job of 'fixing' a broken tooth . . . however temporary. I would advise buying one of these dental repair kits even if you don't need it just to have it on hand in case of a dental emergency. It will provide you a quick fix that will hold you over until you can see a dentist or, like me, prolong your eventual dentist visit if your situation is not an emergency. ... show more

  • BEWARE!
This is advertised as a “temporary” adhesive for caps/crowns. It is not. Oh, my GOSH is it not. I used this product 4 days prior to a dental appointment to reattach the loose crown. I fitted the crown correctly, but as this material cured it pushed the crown into a bad position, leaving me unable to chew, bite down, or even speak properly. I know the crown was seated properly, but just a couple hours later it was WAY out of alignment. Just afterwards, my dentist moved my appointment up to the following day. I was a bit concerned, but felt she could easily loosen the crown. Turns out - she couldn’t loosen it. She tried EVERY TOOL, including some weighted apparatus designed to break the bond. She eventually had to cut the crown loose, which will cost me her labor plus the cost of a new crown. 1. This is NOT a ‘temporary’ fix. It is a ‘semi-permanent’ adhesive with much the same qualities as epoxy. 2. The written instructions say to use “one drop” of liquid with one measure of powder. That’s what I did. Yet, the instructional video shows a LOT more than one single drop of fluid being used. I can’t know for sure, but I think the disparity between written and visual instruction may have caused my situation. 3. This stuff is NOT a temporary fix easily removed. It is intended for a MUCH longer period, so bear that in mind if you’re looking for just a few days of hold prior to going to your dentist. 4. If you mess up the crown’s alignment, you’re STUCK WITH IT for a very long time. 5. The manufacturer supplies no help for removing the adhesive because I suspect they don’t know and/or don’t care. I DO NOT recommend this product. I VERY HIGHLY do not recommend this product. ... show more

  • Works perfect, save yourself a trip to the dentist!
I have an old crown that happens to fall off every six months or so because I always eat hard candy and every time I go to the dentist they charge me $100-$150 to put it back on which takes them five minutes. I bought the stuff and it’s exactly what you would get in the dentist office! Same smell, same texture same everything and it works really really good so now I’ll take this kit everywhere I go on vacation just so that I don’t feel like I’m gonna get nervous about being stuck on a cruise ship with no tooth on the side of my face lol It’s enough to last a very, very long time. This gave me a ton of peace of mind! ... show more

  • Temporary fix that works but takes practice
This dental repair kit is a helpful option if you need a quick temporary fix for a crown or filling, especially for an event or short term use. The concept is great and it comes with everything you need, which makes it convenient to have on hand. That said, it wasn’t as easy to use as I expected. Even though I followed the directions carefully, it took me about three tries to get it to set properly. Once it did work, it held up decently, but it definitely feels like a short term solution rather than something long lasting. Overall, it’s useful in a pinch, but be prepared for a bit of trial and error and don’t expect it to replace a proper dental visit. ... show more

  • It works - But please read, it’s important
First, this product worked very well! I also ordered and received it same day, within 3 hours. I had just moved, Memorial Day weekend, and while out a crown that I’ve had for well over 10 years fell out. Knowing the chance of getting in at the dentist was pretty slim… I went searching for something that will actually hold, and not just a few hours. I was happy to stumble upon this product. So, it works well, I’d say probably more than “temporary”, which is good. I was incredibly worried because that particular tooth has not had a root canal, and I was worried about pain or other issues, happily there was none. Had there been, I would have held off and used something that didn't report to have a strong bond. The warning for this product… - Of course, if you have pain or other issues, I’d get straight in to the dentist and skip using this. - If you are gluing a crown back on… you do not need a lot of this product to make that bond work, in fact, less is more in this case. The amount that it instructs you to mix… and watch the short YouTube video for mixing instructions.. is more than enough, maybe even a tad too much depending on your situation. My crown was on the last tooth in my mouth, super convenient….. so I did make sure I could put it back in without glue/cement first to ensure a good fit… once you put the cement on the crown and stick it back on your tooth…. Work fast… and make sure your bite is good… mine had just a tad too much and my bite was off… just by a little and it was more than noticeable to me while eating and even at rest. It took several days for everything to settle and my bite adjusted… if you’re gluing a crown that has fallen off, it will be extremely difficult to take it off if you position it incorrectly. Just be aware of that before doing anything. But, no issues. I’m happy I found this, and it holds really, really well. I can eat normally and it’s like this never happened 🙃 I know there’s an option to share a pic or video…buuuuut I’ll spare everyone that image 🤣 ... show more
