Advantages This Product exhibit a number of advantages over other restorative materials. Adhesion By bonding a restorative material to tooth structure, the cavity is theoretically sealed, protecting the pulp, eliminating secondary caries and preventing leakage at the margins. This also allows cavity forms to be more conservative and, to some extent, reinforces the remaining tooth by integrating restorative material with the tooth structures. • Actually really good.. get it
Being fair I was definitely skeptical of this "tooth repair" kit.. So far with expectations that it's a temporary fix it's actually pretty good and easy to use and seems fairly solid after day one... It is a challenge getting the resin to set exactly where you want and keeping it dry for 5min can be a channeling task but once it dries it does feel solid and should last a week or 2 easily Who it's for *Temporary cosmetics fix for a event * filling in a gap in theeth *Prior filling fell out (temp replacement) Who it's not for *Someone looking for a permanent fix of a tooth *Don't have patience to test and work on best results *Can't follow instructions Final thoughts for me at least I see this as more of a "make-up kit" for your teeth and just like make-up a woman wears it's only temporary and should be taken as that because you will replace and fix prior work fairly often but it does the job for those of us that can't afford a $3k+ tooth extraction and repair For me so far day 1 results are good and I will update in the near future Update: first week!! Awesome results it takes time to properly mix and set but once set properly the results even in front teeth where a large amount of pressure and use its really solid and works well Update week 3: This stuff is awesome I have had a front tooth repair and a moler that was broke to the gum line that I repaired 2 weeks ago and they are still in place and I have actually was able to completely chew ice on the right side of my mouth for the first time in 15 years and the repair is still perfectly in place. This stuff works and is definitely worth a try and can be a true game changer for some and at least a good standby option for anyone who may need a good temporary (few weeks maybe more) A few tips that helped me get better longer lasting results 1.do repairs about 15min before you go to bed (most important step) 2. Brush your teeth about 30min before you apply the repair 3. Follow mixing steps but be prepared to make adjustments for consistency and amount needed 4. Have a few napkins that you can dry the area in your mouth a few seconds before applying the paste 5. After mixing and giving a few seconds for the mixture to become just hard enough to be like playdough or bubble gum the best way to apply is with your fingers 6. After you apply to the tooth have a 5min timer set on your phone and start it and just stand there and make sure the area stays dry (it's hard the first few attempts) 7. about 15min after application the repair will be solid enough for you to get ready for bed I recommend a few napkins by your bed to gently keep the tooth repair dry as you go to sleep 8. Wake up the next morning and you should be good to go the mixture will definitely be solid and after a few attempts you will get it exactly how you want it This stuff works and gets rock hard if you use it correctly!!! apply it successfully!!! And keep it dry enough to cure properly.. ... show more

  • Long-lasting and worked really well. Adjust the consistency
Update: 1.5 years later. This has stayed and held perfectly. Im having the tooth treated next month. My dentist was impressed!! ==Original review below== I had to use this 3 times to get it right but when I got it right it was PERFECT. I bought this 3 months ago when I was in the middle of a schedule that nightmares are made of. 18 hour days. Grabbing things when I could to eat in a hurry. Grabbed a nacho and chomped down and instant mind-searing pain on my one good molar. Yep my teeth have gone to the tooth fairy in pieces over the last 10 years with no dental insurance. Great. Part of my molar was now missing. 3 days of no chewing anything and only eating slowly, a bite at a time on the opposite side. Anything near the tooth would kill me. Would have to constantly brush to keep my mouth clear of anything that could possibly get in there. I bought 3 different sets of dental repair kits out of desperation. This is the one that worked. I followed the instructions exactly. I even researched how to do it online. Here is what I found: 1. Thoroughly brush and floss the area. You're going to be sealing it up and you don't want to be sealing IN food particles. 2. You're going to need cut and folded up paper towels thebsize of a gauze, or gauze if u have it, to keep the saliva away from the area. Just like they do at the dentists office. I used 3 sections. You want a piece between your cheek and the tooth and between your tooth and your tongue. I used another to bite down onto the area I was repairing once the product was in. You want a little extra virgin or cooking oil for this 3rd piece if u use it, just a drop or two.. U don't want a bunch of papertowel stuck to your tooth forever. this is part of the prep work before you mix. 3. You have to work fast after you mix. You only have 10 seconds ish to get it where it needs to go. 4. Read the directions through twice. 5. U need a mirror and light to see where you're going. I didnt use it to actually put it in my mouth. I couldn't see past my hand, but I did use my phone with the flash on and took video of it beforehand. Then I felt it with my finger as I looked at it on the video. Then I took the little spatula with nothing on it to figure out where it needed to go in my mouth. You need to know where you're going. 6. My first two tries it worked but crumbled apart within a day. I think it mixed up too thick and I used the directions for the portions. So I just eyeballed it the 3rd time. You want it the consistency of an overworked piece of chewed up gum, then hit it with another drop of liquid, mix again and get it on the tooth. You can add to it if u need to but don't go nuts adding too much. Keep that cooking oil nearby and put some on your finger so you can use it help shape and smooth the product into and around and off of your tooth. The third time was the charm for me. Its been 2 months and I haven't had to redo it (yet). Its been great to get me through without starving to death. ... show more
