I bought this as a little addition to one of my cosplays and it is truly amazing! It is very screen accurate and it cost barely anything! It is very thick and slightly heavy which shows the quality of the metal and I have received many compliments from friends about how amazing it looks. It also added a little pop of color to my pirate cosplay. If you want the necklace to look a bit "nicer" you are able to rechain it with a golden chain to make it look a bit better than the black paracord like chain that it comes with. Also, like other reviewers said, the paint does chip off after sometime wearing it, which bummed me out a little bit. To stop this, put a clear coat of nail polish or other sealant, such as Mod Podge, to give it a brighter shine and to protect the paint from coming off over time. Despite these small quirks, this is an absolutely amazing gift to give to a fan of POTC or for any sort of pirate related cosplay! I would highly recommend it!

I didn't buy this for a costume or anything, I just bought this because I'm a huge fan of Pirates of the Caribbean and I thought this would be a great comfort item for me to wear at all times, as I would a normal necklace. This coin is built and looks exactly like the coin in the movies and they even got the details on the back correct, despite it barely being shown in the movies if at all. My only complaint is that alot the paint on the back scraped off after very regular use and wearing around my neck for 3 months straight. I really can't complain because this probably wasn't meant to wear regularly, and I also don't show the back. The front has held up amazingly well and looks like a stunning replica. Another thing is that I knew this would come with a weird thick black string, not accurate to the movies, so I replaced a pendant on a different chain necklace with this coin pendant, and I recommend others to do the same. Perfect size, durable, and looks exactly as it does in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. It's also so cheap and defintely worth the $2-$5

Not much to say about this product other than it hit the mark. The skull coin necklace was very cheap at $3.93 so, I was not expecting much. It said it was metal and had good weight to it and if it delivered on that I would have been happy at that low price. It looks like the picture, it is chunky and hefty which is really nice, and it looks really good. The design on the back is not the same as on the front and that is the only thing that could have been better, if you want it to look the same on both sides, but if that is not an issue then it is cool to have a different less intricate design on the back. Overall, it hits a perfect rating because, for the price, it goes above and beyond anything you would expect. Great for costumes, kids to play with, games, etc.

I didn't waste no time after seeing Pirates Of The Caribbean for the first time (a little late, I know)! I knew I just had to have the medallion and upon ordering I was a little worried about the coloration of the product. The picture used shows it having a faint bronze-ish ancient color. However, having it in person now, it is a beautiful golden color. Exactly what you would expect a golden medallion to be! The weight is actually pretty solid and you definately notice it. The details were perfect, front and back. Also, upon its arrival I instantly lathered it with a layer of clear nail polish. I couldn't risk it losing its beautiful color! The string that it came with is actually a pretty solid and hefty string too. I'm thinking about upgrading to a golden chain, we'll see. I think the simple black string adds to the medallion more. Overall, it is what it is and it does what it's supposed to do. I believe that's worth a full 5 stars!

For the price I can’t complain, but I definitely was expecting a replica that looked like what the images showed and and other reviews showed. This is more like a thin piece of metal with the Aztec print stamped on it. I have a friend who also bought this and theirs turned out the same way. It is not as advertised, so buyer beware.
