Shield is the best part of the costume! Only issue is it scratches super easily so don’t let your kiddo play with it early on. Save it for the event you’re using it for. Otherwise, Medium is a little big on a 7 y/o but that’s my fault for ordering a medium. Small was wildly expensive so didn’t feel I had a choice. Medium works and the kiddo isn’t looking for a perfect fit anyhow, and he feels like a million bucks in the costume. Otherwise decent costume and well put together for the price! ... show more

The “shoes” or “boots” of the costume that are intended to cover my son’s feet are sewed on backward. We tried twisting them around but it’s all sewed together so I’ll probably just end up having to cut them off. We purchased for my 6 year old but it’s my 3.5 year old wearing it in the picture.
