The media could not be loaded. This is the third Marucci bat I've purchased for my boys. Never been disappointed before - and this has been the perfect bat so far for my 11 (almost 12) year old this season as well. He's using the 29/19. Side note: It's really important to get the size right. This bat would've been too big for him last year and led to alot of long swings and strikeouts. I assume there will be other videos showing closeups of the grip and barrell etc. I'll add a video of live game action to see and hear the sound of this bat in action. ... show more

My son has used this bat for his first year of travel baseball with no issues. It has held up to all practice, bp, and game situations. We did replace the grip tape with a better option though.
