My son has been very pleased with this bat. We went from a 29" down to a 28" and it has improved his swing and control. It is an expensive bat, but the resale market is almost as high as the new purchase price. So we will just sell it when he outgrows it and buy the next size up.

Yep, my 12U son hit a HR his first at bat with this CAT9. We had taken some BP after getting it and he put 3 over the fence but this was literally his first in game at bat with it. I know it won’t happen every time but what a confidence booster. He loves the bat and hit has a great sweet spot. Now all the kids are wanting one. This is our 3rd CAT. We’ve had a couple CAT 7’s and they’ve held up really well. He outgrew one and the other is a -5 we’re still using. The CAT9 is a -8 so it allows a little more bat speed.
