This Marsail standing desk is great! I wish I had bought it sooner! Such a good buy for $120! I got the 40 x 24" model, so it's quite small and fits in a corner, and can be moved very easily if needed. I considered the larger $140 Furmax model for a long while, but am so glad I got this smaller standing desk instead. (I think Marsail also sells a larger desk.) I like the light/white color scheme so that it doesn't look large and bulky in your room. NOTE - the top desk part comes in 2 rectangular panels so that the box that ships can be smaller and more easily moved. The crack in the middle doesn't bother me at all (and I did consider drawing on this desk). It's very sturdy and doesn't shake on Zoom/video calls. A friend put it together for me and said the process was fairly easy and fast. The 4 auto height-adjusting buttons are amazing and work as advertised. You just hold each of the 4 buttons for the heights you want, for 3 seconds each, then the panel flashes and you know that height is programmed into the button. When the desk moves, it's practically silent and pretty quick...even quieter than I expected. I don't even move the stuff on top of the desk when adjusting the height, though I don't have much. I thought the complementary felt grey pouch for storing things on the side of the desk was a bit cheesy, but I ended up using it anyways! It came with 2 screws and only 1 nut for the pouch (missing 1 nut to secure it), but Amazon made it right. (that was the only teeny thing that went awry w this product) I have chronic back pain -- since I got this desk, I haven't lowered it to sitting height yet! For $120, this purchase was totally worth it (and I'm in a temp space and plan to move it later which was why I delayed this purchase...and it's still so worth it)! ... show more

I currently work from home for an electric company and sitting all day can get pretty exhausting even though you’re not on your feet. But with this desk I can sit for half of my shift and if I feel like finishing off my shift while standing I can do that as well. And I love the settings and heights and the space that it has to hold all my devices and it has an easy to clean surface which is a plus for me. I love it. First off I caught this on sale and Amazon had a $40 coupon. I was looking for something cheap yet nice to occasional work from home. Putting together the table was very simple and I’m a 4’10” woman and was able to do it completely by myself. I did have a problem installing a piece that on the instruction sheet it showed it already installed so I had no clue how to attach it. I tried everything and I emailed the service department. They emailed me back the same day asking for additional details and then the next day they sent me a video to show me how to install the part. I did have to take some of my work apart to access that area, but it was a very quick fix and I was up and running in no time. I bought this desk to replace a much larger desk, and honestly do not regret it at all. I am able to fit everything I need on the desk itself and the standing functionality is great for when I’m in meetings, and need to move around. Only took about an hour to put together. This desk exceeds my expectations. For this price I wasn't expecting luxury or solid wood, but for a DIY office furniture kit this is really nice. It looks great, the controls are smooth and steady, and it is very sturdy. The footprint is really minimal, so the desk fits nicely into a window nook for me, and you can slide a rolling filecabinet under it (check the height first though). Honestly I love building stuff so it was fun to build. The only downside I noticed is that the part where we screw the table top on is extremely tedious bc the holes are just guides and you really have to use force to push and screw the nail in. I work in manufacturing and must share my time between the shop floor and my office. Walking up to my desk, completing a task, and then continuing with the job at hand is great for staying focused. Sitting down and standing up all the time is not conducive to how I work-- switching from computer work to shop work is a treat with this new desk. I wasn't prepared for how much I would enjoy using it. Keeping my body moving is essential to my productivity, and I'm thankful for making my daily motions more fluid. This is a pretty cool desk, does exactly what it states and wasn't too hard to assemble, sure you may need to apply some pressure to the leg pieces when assembling but once it's in, it's a snug fit. I didn't have any leveling issues when setting up but i did pay close attention to where the leg slots were, so that's probably why. Works great though, saves presets and goes up / down smoothly, well worth the money. ... show more
