These are tiny but very nice, beautiful quality little cards. Inside is a smooth, matte surface to write on. My only complaint would be the envelopes…on the back where you seal them the edges look grubby because of the printed logo inside (see photo). These notecards are stunning! I want to cover my walls with them, so I can look at them all the time. Every single one is a different beautiful combo of colors. They’re the perfect small size for my use @ 4.5”x3.75”. It would’ve been a nice bonus if the inner envelope had a pretty, colorful pattern to coordinate with the cards like they often do. Maybe they thought that would be too much & that’s why they went with the repeated “Marimekko” text in black & white printed inside the envelopes. I’m a life-long fan of all things Marimekko. I’ve had Marimekko note cards and other stationery items before, but nothing as sweetly petite as these cards. They are the perfect size for a brief note of thanks, or whatever you have to say that’s short and sweet.
