I tried to cancel this order shortly after I placed it and was very annoyed that I was not allowed to do so. Especially in view of the fact that delivery was scheduled to a week away! However, although I intended to return it, once I opened the package and saw the quilt I immediately decided to keep it. It’s very beautiful and looks much more expensive than it was. The only negatives are it is quite heavy and was very difficult to wash in my reasonably large washing machine. Also, it took extremely long to dry (about 2 hours) on low in my dryer. Some wrinkles on sides didn’t come out but I will try to steam them. I bought the king size for my queen bed and it fits perfectly. Wanted to eliminate dust ruffle.     • Measure before you buy!!! Does NOT reach floor on beds with metal frame/box springs/mattress

First, the quality of this bedspread is a solid 5 star. Leaf design & the different lower sections are lovely. However, my goal (as several others said) was to eliminate using a dust ruffle. Both the pictures from the manufacturer & numerous reviews appear to be using this on mattresses atop a PLATFORM. If that's your situation, you'd find that the size(s) are true to reaching the floor. My bed consists of a steel frame, a BOX SPRING, and a pillow top mattress at 15 inches - all are Queen size. The Queen bedspread does NOT reach the floor nor does it even cover the metal bed frame on the sides. Too short by several inches. I should have tried to study the pictures more but the manufacturer has them posted so you cannot really see the sides nor how the entire bed is composed. Closer look seems to show the mattress only, on a platform. I am old school with metal frame, box springs, and high mattress .I guess the "platform" style is more popular therefore spreads, quilts, etc. are catering to that market. Not sure if keeping or if I can make it work...but...the quality & design are winners. ... show more

    • Lightweight for the hot summer nights we have been having

I bought this to replace a comforter that we had on our spare bed. When I slept under that without air conditioning on the hot summer nights, I baked. This however is a cooler alternative and it's soft and attractive.

Exceeds my expectations at such a reasonable price. Very well made and fits my Queen perfectly. Generous in size and heaps better fit than typical full/queen size. The natural beige is a perfect warm color. Stitching is detailed and precise.

I have a smaller quilt for my cal king bed and this comforter is so much better do to the weight is better and the width is so much better than a previous one I bought elsewhere. I have washed it twice and it comes out of the dryer wrinkle free. Beautiful sky green/blue color.

This coverlet is not lightweight. I would consider this coverlet medium weight (which I prefer). It is very nicely made. My only problem with this coverlet is that it IS NOT "WHITE" and does not go with my decor. I am not returning it because it's a pain in the butt. I'll find someone who can use it. This is the second coverlet I purchased from AMAZON which is not the color stated in the description. I last ordered a coverlet which was described as "BLUE". It is "GREEN". I doubt I will order bedspreads/coverlets on-line again. ... show more

Great bedspread. Comfortable, soft, and warm without being too hot. 100% cotton is important to me, so this was a great find for the price. I love the leaf pattern. We are going to paint the wall green behind the bed because we are hoping for a “forest” theme for the room. This bedspread/shams are perfect for that. The Natural Beige color is easy to match with any other sets of sheets that we have. Shams fit pillows very well, which is not the case with my other bedspread set.
