I am old enough to remember when Jeff Bezos began Amazon, from I think his house or garage, and he had a dream of selling books on the Internet. I say this because now consumers don't understand his modest beginnings and the dream he pursued. When I shop on Amazon now, it is items like these replacement wheels that remind me how diversified Amazon has become to serve consumers. I am constantly surprised with what I can find on Amazon. OK, enough waxing nostalgic. These wheels come with pre-installed axle bearing assemblies. Sealed units. I have an older hand truck I bought at Costco, with cheesy wheels that have no bearings and when the tire bead unseated from the plastic rim, though I restore cars, weld and fabricate, I was not able to get that tire to seat so air could go in the tire. I found this two wheen set with what must be a widely used axle diameter, and they fit the axle perfectly. Since the bearing race will rotate some on the axle, this wheel has a Zero fitting so you can periodically grease your axle without removing the wheel. I'd buy these again without hesitation. The tires were rotted on my generator and needed replacing. The wheel hub was a split rim and I could have easily replaced the tube and tire but I found these wheels and the pair was cheaper than new tubes and tires. One of the tires on my hand truck wouldn't hold air, so I pulled it apart and put a new innertube in it. Feeling good at t his point! Then I tried to put the tiire back on the rim, and sadly at almost 80yrs old, I don't have the strength I once had! Bothers me more than I can express!! When I found I could get two new tires, on new rims for this price, it was a no-brainer!
