I bought this dress specifically to wear after my laparoscopic surgery. In fact, I bought a lot of things to prepare but this purchase was by far the most worthwhile. When it arrived in the mail, I tried it on and thought it looked ok. Not sexy or anything but the fact that it buttons down the front and the material is soft and stretchy, heavy but not too heavy and not see thru, I knew it would be good for my intended purpose. It turned out to work perfectly. The medium was the right size for me. I’m usually a medium so I would say it’s true to size. It’s very comfortable and the right length. I'm 40x35x41 and I like this dress. There are two buttons that pull across the 40, but it fits perfectly everywhere else, so no regrets on ordering the Med. However, the dress IS see through & instead of returning I've opted for a full yellow slip.
