  • Cheap and effective
Size: 13 Color: Forest Green
I've been lifting for about two years now, and as my deadlifts and squats approach high 200s (I'm also 265 lbs myself), my feet have been feeling progressively worse in gym shoes. One foot always had a sore ball, and the other hurt in the arch. These are flat and give me a barefoot feel while still giving me some traction so I don't slip on my cheap gym mats. Feet feel much better after only a few weeks of use. Very lightweight. Kinda feels like wearing pool shoes. I'm sure there are much better out there, but they cost 5x more, so I'm happy. ... show more

  • Just what I was looking for
Size: 12.5 Color: Sapphire Blue
For years I'd been working out at the gym with regular cross trainer (or similar) shoes. However, it got to the point where I felt I needed something less bulky and flatter on the heels for my squats, and this shoe fit the bill. It's well made, has enough comfort and stability, and good traction on my rubber floor mat. I normally wear a size 11.5 without socks and a 12 (in Nikes) with socks...and since I planned to wear low cut socks with these shoes so needed a slightly bigger size and went with a size 12.5 instead of the 11.5-12 recommended, and it fit perfectly. I will likely buy another pair soon. ... show more

  • Sizing is correct and very comfortable
Size: 10.5-11 Color: Obsidian Black
For the price these shoes are a good value. I'm not sure about durability yet since I just got them but so far so good. I'm the type who always lifted in cross-trainers so these are an interesting experiment. Fit and comfort are very good.

  • Fantastic lifting shoes!
Size: 9.5-10 Color: Forest Green
Really really nice lifting shoes with a great value! Super grippy on indoor mats, and doesn't slip even when doing anything sumo. I've had them for a few months now and workout 4-5 times a week and these have no signs of wear or damage. I'll definitely be buying another pair!

  • Good fit, good feel
Size: 10.5-11 Color: Lemon Yellow
I was in between sizes in their chart, so I went with the larger size and they fit perfectly. They feel great on my feet, very comfortable, and the soles have great traction. Now that I have the Velcro set I can slide them on and off my feet very quickly. Love the yellow color.

  • Super comfortable and I PRed
Size: 8.5 Color: Obsidian Black
The shoe is very comfortable. I am using them for deadlift and bench. My converse were getting very slippery and were starting to hurt my feet. I had been trying to hit a 315 deadlift for awhile but could not seem to get it despite 295 feeling easy. Last night I went to the gym to test my maxes with my new shoes and easily got 315. The shoes felt sturdy, had great grip and were super comfortable. I got a size down (8.5) from my normal size (9.5) because these are mens sizes. It was a great price and I am super happy with my purchase. With these shoes I feel ready for my powerlifting competition! ... show more

  • Took a few workouts to get used to, but now I love them
Size: 11.5-12 Color: Gradient Red
I have always worn cross training sneakers for weightlifting, but I haven been lifting at home (rather than at a gym) for the past three or so years. Where I have my home bench, rack, weights, etc., is carpeted. It was coming up on time for new shoes, but I haven't been able to find anything I liked. I have very flat, wide feet and I have one particular shoe brand that I stick with. But they haven't had any great shoes and a good price point over the last year. During a search around Black Friday, I randomly came across these shoes on Amazon and, based on the reviews and pricing, decided to give them a try. For gym shoes, I typically wear an 11 or 11.5 wide (2E). I measured using the info provided and ordered the size "11.5-12". After first trying them on I knew I wanted to keep them. My first workout with them was chest/tri (so not deadlifts). I think I made them too tight because after a few minutes of lifting it started to hurt where my arch should be (I literally have no arch in my foot). I loosened up the hook/loop straps and they were good to go. Then I started feeling like maybe they were too tight and my big toe kept hitting a weird spot. I wore them for a second workout, bicep/shoulder (so again not deadlifts), and they were more comfortable, but I was still thinking I might need a bigger size. I also realize I had been trying to push my heel all the way back in them instead of just wearing them naturally, but that was part of the process of getting used to this kind of shoe. By my third workout, legs and back, I had the hook/loop straps figured out and I was just wearing them naturally. My big toe wasn't hitting a weird spot anymore and I think the shoes loosened up a bit. Had a great leg workout, especially calves. I see why these are marketed as deadlifting shoes because I felt like I had a lot more feeling and control over all of my leg exercises (squats, deadlifts, calf raises). I also felt less pressure on my left knee which had previously been swelling after workouts. After that third workout I knew these shoes were good to go. They are definitely different than a cross trainer, and honestly I don't know if I would want them if I were still going to an actual gym. They really are like wearing just a shell of a shoe, so I would worry about hitting my toes on weights or equipment. I also don't like having to switch shoes or swap equipment during a workout, but some people love that. For my home use on carpeted floor with fairly decent weight (300+ bench and squat sets, 400+ deadlift sets) these are perfect. I don't plan on going back to cross trainers. Highly recommended if you know you want this type of shoe or even if you just want to check them out and see if it's worth it. Just note that it takes a few workouts to get used to them and break them in. I'm about three weeks into using them and I'm very happy I went with this shoe in the size I selected. ... show more

  • Comfortable fit, great for lifting
Size: 8.5 Color: Beige Color
Great price and fit. I've been using these for about 2 months and my lifting game is so much better. Flat shoes are great for weight training and these help my stability
