Our son is hitting puberty and is showing signs of potential skin issues and breakouts. We tried to get him to use the same simple system my daughter and I use, but he thinks only women can use it because I buy it in the makeup section of the store. My husband got tired of hearing me fuss at the boy, so he thought giving him something specifically made for men might help battle the stubbornness in the boy. He has been making it a daily routine with our son, teaching him how to use the products correctly and helping him understand why it's important that men take care of their skin too. The feedback I got from my husband is that all the products have a nice clean fresh scent that isn't overpowering or like perfume. He said the cleanser lathers up nicely and that your skin feels clean when you rinse it. It doesn't leave your skin tight or dry. The moisturizer is lightweight, sinks into the skin fast, and doesn't make their faces feel greasy. I have noticed that in the two weeks they have been using it, our son's skin isn't oily and he hasn't been breaking out around his eyes and nose as much as he was. So I can tell he is getting his face clean. Now for the brightening serum, they are both using it (my son is just following his father's lead). My husband hasn't said much about it other than it's kind of refreshing. I can see that they both don't have as much redness in their cheeks after using it. My husband likes it and told me to make sure to get some more as Christmas gifts for him and our son since he wants them both to keep using it. I am happy that they like it and that he actually got my son to use it. The $50 for three quality products is awesome. The brand my daughter wants to use is $50 for just the cleanser, so this set is a steal.

This set of men's products comes with a cleanser, serum, and moisturizer. The packaging is attractive and successfully targets the intended audience. All the products have a light (not overwhelming) manly scent. The cleanser leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed. The serum spreads well and sinks in quickly. The moisturizer is where a star was lost. For starters, it does not have an spf. My other issue is that for a man's skin, it is a little on the heavy/oilier side. A lighter moisturizer would be preferable in a men's system.

My husband recently decided he wanted to try skincare products, so when I found this set I was excited to get it for him. First of all, I think whoever wrote the instructions knew that this was most likely going to be purchased by men who have never used skincare products before. I started laughing when I read the back of each product, because they are WAY more specific than the instructions on most women’s skincare. They tell you exactly how to use each product step by step, and in what order. It’s incredibly helpful, especially if this is your first time using a complete skincare system! The only complaint he had, was that his face burns a little after he applies the serum. We’re not sure which ingredient he’s sensitive to, but it only lasts a couple minutes. With that said, he says he’s been using it anyway, and it doesn’t cause any redness or further irritation once it dries. His favorite parts are both the moisturizer and the scent. It truly smells amazing without being overpowering. The moisturizer works great for his whole face, but especially under his beard. The skin under his beard often gets dry and irritated, but this has completely fixed that. Plus, it doesn’t leave his beard greasy like some lotions do. Overall, I think this is a really good set. My husband loves it, and he wants me to repurchase it for him when it’s gone. Plus, a little goes a long way with all three products, so you get a lot of use for the price.
