This mini faux leather pencil skirt is super cute and fits true to size, but it didn’t work for my body type. If you have any kind of stomach from having children or otherwise, the leather doesn’t provide much shaping or support, so it wasn’t comfortable for me to wear. A friend recommended this skirt to me, so I decided to order and try. I’m typically a medium (I’m5’3, tend to wear a size 10 in jeans) across the board, but my friend said she ordered a medium and is typically a small in most items so I sized up to a large for this skirt. I definitely think a medium would have fit, but the large gave me a little more room to move and feel comfortable. It’s longer than I expected but I wore it fairly high waisted and I felt great in it. It has a decent stretch to it so even after a very filling dinner and sitting for a few hours, I still felt comfortable and didn’t feel like I was tugging at it all night. The skirt is super cute and of good quality. The leather is soft, thick and has some stretch to it. The overall fit around the waist is great. My only complaint is the skirt is about 2-3inches too long. I really wanted to love this skirt. I ended up folding and securing the skirt for a more mini fit.
