The prong set solitaire is a nice shape and cut and has a good sparkle - but not that great prismatic type flash and sparkle you would expect from a real or lab grown diamond. I do have concerns that the prong setting will not hold over time because it seems like it could be more secure. The band is highly polished silver and has a smooth consistent surface with no visible flaws. The inset side channel stones are nice and have a good smooth finish - no snagging on clothing and such. This is a pretty ring but it has a fairly low-profile and I haven't decided on whether I like the low-profile. I have received compliments on it though, so I think it's just a matter of taste. On a positive note, the low profile is less likely to snag on clothes and is less likely to poke someone when I shake their hands. I got this ring to wear during pregnancy as a placeholder for my wedding rings. I've used a silicone band in the past when my fingers swell and my rings don't fit. However, this is a much prettier option! I love how dainty the band is, and the cubic zirconia diamonds sparkle brilliantly (or as least as much as they can not being the real thing). The best feature, in my opinion, is that sits close to my finger and does not catch on my clothes or hair.
