Description

Standard Black Vinyl pressing of the two-time GRAMMY Nominated timeless album, Malibu. After dropping his debut album, Venice, in 2014, and then being featured on six tracks on Dr. Dre's Compton album in 2015, 2016's Malibu marked a major landmark moment in Anderson.Paak's now storied career and paved the way for him to be the household name he is today. Known by many as one of the best live performers around, and with countless brand collaborations, sold out tours, chart topping albums, and even a joint album with the legendary Bruno Mars to his name, it's safe to say that Anderson.Paak has reached Icon status. This classic catalog piece comes with a fold-out poster and features appearances from Schoolboy Q, The Game, BJ The Chicago Kid, and more.

  • Delivered as promised!
I was skeptical at first because a couple of reviews complained about poor packaging but the item arrived in great packaging and the vinyl is in mint condition. Sound quality is great! Hats off to this seller.

  • Best R&B Album of this century.
Malibu This album is, without a doubt, the best R&B/soul album of this century. Anderson .Paak has clearly separated himself from all other hip hop/rap/R&B artists. Being from the west coast, specifically Compton, he is in this "brotherhood" of sorts with many other artists from the area (i.e. Dr. Dre [who signed him to his label pretty recently and featured him on his most recent album], Kendrick Lamar, The Game, Schoolboy Q, and many others) and many are featured on this album making it one of the best party/chill albums. I bought it on vinyl and I am very impressed with the pressing. It's a 2 LP set on 180 grain vinyl and it is very very good. I would suggest it to anyone who wants a good party album in their record collection. ... show more

  • Great release of a top tier album
If you're here reading this, you likely already know the material. If not, just know that this is one of the best albums of the last five or so years, and certainly top tier R&B / soul. This album is best listened to as one work, but the tracks still hold up split into singles or on shuffle. Excellent, excellent listening The vinyl pressing is wonderful. It comes with a sweet poster and the choice for two LPs was wise here. Anderson. Paak is famous for being a bit of an anomaly, with his rapping and drumming, and you can really here the range and the percussion. ... show more

  • Don't forget the dot!
Anderson .Paak is a creative force to be reckoned with. His music is filled with funk and soul. He's a raps too but it's balanced well. The first time I heard him was on Mac Miller's Dang. I looked into him further and was surprised and astonished by this James Brown/Kendrick Lamar type cat who not only sings but is an accomplished drummer. Watch his Tiny Desk concert it's cool to see an actual band perform. Anderson plays drums and sings on the video. My favorite songs are Parking Lot, The Season, The Bird, Am I Wrong, and Come Down. I wasn't disappointed from this album it's worth a listen to anybody who wants to hear something unique and orginal. ... show more
