  • Does not behave like anodizing
Color: Black
The coating in these products does not behave or look like traditional anodizing. The coating wipes off the base material with little effort, and it doesn’t laser etch like true anodizing. It leaves a dull color where the laser engraving is done. Unlike anodized aluminum where the engraving is crisp. The photos above are the results of rubbing the cards with a paper towel, applying ~5 lbs of pressure. I’m not sure what these cards are coated in or the process they may have been anodized with, but it does not reflect any anodized products I have worked with before. I would not recommend this product. ... show more

  • Worked on my Glowforge, with some struggles. Beware they are thin.
Color: Black
I bought the black coated cards after reading the reviews. I knew they'd be thin and they are. Thickness: Here's what to expect. They are 8 thousanths of an inch thick. That means they are flimsy as all getout and much floppier than a credit card. That's just what happens with metal this thin. It's basically a feeler gauge at this size. Put paper under it and set your focal length for .010 inches. Laser settings: On a Glowforge Pro, you have 45 watts to play with. You're going to need it. I tried the settings that would typically work on anodized cards. 75% and 1000 speed. Nope. It comes up like a charred marshmallow. You need to set it to 45 watts and a speed of no more than 800 for text an 1000 for images. Set your text if you have any to 340 lines of resolution and your images to 340 or 450 at a minimum. Once complete, you will need to wipe the card with alcohol. That clears some of the crud off the aluminum and really makes the text look crisp. With these settings, and a thorough post etching alcohol wipe; you should be alright with these cards. (As long as you don't mind them being about as stiff as a playing card. ... show more

  • Disgusting
Color: Black
These are the worst cards that I’ve put into my laser to date. They have a gold undertone and just look disgusting in general. As all of the reviews state, they are not anodized, they are painted and it flakes strangely. Save your money... there are many better options on Amazon.

  • Thin
Color: Black
So I'm super excited to get these because I have an engraving machine and I was ecstatic to try it out. I thought that these were going to be like the debit cards they have out now that are thick but these are exactly opposite they are as thin as the thinnest business card could be, very bendable! Not so excited anymore 😔 ... show more

  • Good price every day usable- yes. High quality- No.
Color: Black
I prefer to hand out less quantity and higher quality business cards. Thus product in my opinion does not meet that standard. However there are occasions where I find the need to have several dozen cards on hand for a single event and econmicaly speaking these do reach a high enough standard . In general this product marks easily with the 100 watt CO2 laser we employ. If this were a thickness of .5 mm or more at similar price then total 5 star. As is thickness of .19mm a little to thin for my taste but reasonably priced for larger quantity usage. ... show more

  • Perfect for my needs
Color: Black
When these arrived, I thought I had been sent the wrong item. They don't feel like "aluminum". Thin, very very flexible and they fit my Cricut machine and engraver perfectly. I will definitely be re-ordering these again when I finish with this order.

  • Horrible. Forget using a laser
Color: Black
These are just painted. Not anodized. My laser on high and slow couldn't etch squat. CNC just flecks the paint off regardless of bit. Cheap junk.

  • My fault
Color: Black
This product was so paper thin, I had no use for it and just threw them away. I have a diamond tip engraver, not a laser. So pretty much my fault for not reading more carefuylly
