Hosted by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, Season 3 of Making the Cut brings together 10 talented, up and coming designers. Each week the contestants compete in design challenges that test both their design skills and their ability to run a fashion brand. Episode 1 Winning Designer Sienna Li, born and raised in China, is a full-time fashion designer based in New York City. Li launched her namesake high-end women's wear brand in 2015. I never thought I'd see the day that I'd buy my birthday dress from Amazon... But here we are folks! And I was OBSESSED with it! It was a tad bit sexy (but not too much) and made me feel pretty. I got SO many compliments in this dress. It also has pockets which was my favorite part. It was a bit heavier than expected and unfortunately the clasp closure broke as soon as my daughter tried to close it so I had to improvise... Which was frustrating because it made me late for my birthday dinner. For a $200+ dress, I had higher expectations for the craftsmanship. Overall though it's a very pretty dress but I will have to have the clasp fixed before I can wear it again.

I was so excited about this dress, but when it arrived, I was disappointed and had to make a few alterations. I was ready to send it back because the zipper was stuck and the clasp in the back was missing. With no other alternatives at such short notice, a few stitches here and there, a heavy steaming. I was happy. This dress is stunning! I am 5'11 and 6'2 in heels the length was perfect. Unfortunately, there was so much commotion at my event I didn't get any post-worthy photos.

Even though I had to return the dress, it was to short in the front on my for my event......This dress is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first thing that I loved was the quality of fabric. It is amazing! It is cotton, very heavy good quality cotton!!!! The weight allows it to flow so freely and it is very flare. The ruffled sleeves stood straight up as soon as I tried it on. It is true to size, there is no need to size up or down, but if you are not sure, definitely size up, you can always have it altered. I have absolutely no complaints about this dress, It is a must buy!! I do have a complaint about the packaging. my WHITE dress was laying in my driveway overnight in just a clear plastic bag. It looked like a bag you get from the cleaners. I was shocked, that an almost $200 dress would come packaged like that. If it had rained it would have been ruined. You definitely need to do better with your packaging.

I’m an inverted triangle, so finding a dress in which I can look good and feel comfortable is always a challenge. The skirt on this dress looks like a simple high-low design, but it has so much more fabric than it seems, creating a nice volume that doesn’t look bulky. Also, IT HAS POCKETS!!! The design on the top is just the right amount of sexy, my only issue was that the v-neck would “open up” a bit and show more chest than I was comfortable, but nothing a safety pin couldn’t fix. The ruffles on the back of the shoulders are nice and stiff, meaning the stay up no matter how much you move or dance. I noticed the fabric stretches a bit, it’s soft, and soooo comfortable.

This dress is well worth the money, the structure of the dress is excellent, the quality of the material is great….the dress is heavy because it is a full skirt at the bottom. The low v neckline is tasteful because there is coverage on the side. If it is too low for you you could tack in some sheer netting to give you more coverage. Looking forward to wearing this dress soon.

The dress is nice and so is the fabric. It's very heavy overall. The issue is I ordered according to the sizing chart and the dress had about 5-6 inches of excess fabric around the waist. It was HUGE compared to what the size chart stated it would be. I even double checked the garment tag to make sure I didn't order the wrong size. I could've easily gone down two sizes. I would have exchanged it BUT if you order when the item is on sale (I ordered on prime day for $88) THEY DO NOT HONOR THE ORIGINAL SALE PRICE. When I tried to exchange for a smaller size they said they would "apply the original price towards the new price". So my $88 still meant I owed $111 in order to get the right size. The dress is nice but not $200 nice.
