It feels a little weird reviewing this item, and I won’t add personal details. The urn is a stained-wood box with a composite bottom. All the mitered corners were cut accurately and well-joined. The bottom is attached with four small Phillips-head screws. There was plenty of room inside for contents. It is also easy and straightforward to attach a nameplate to the front (not included, of course, but available on Amazon). The urn was packaged in foam, both rigid and thin-sheet, and arrived without damage. This is a dignified and classic urn that you can use without feeling like you somehow skimped because you didn’t pay a funeral director 6 times the price for the same item.
