The best thing about this product is that it's a nearly complete makeup set. It has almost everything someone could want for a beginner set including a set of brushes. (A glaring omission is the lack of blush.) It would be great for anyone who wants to experiment with makeup. BB cream and foundation: Lightweight but still good coverage. The foundation has a bit of a dewy finish. Both are a great match for my, which is on the lighter side of medium. Wouldn't work if you are very fair or have darker skin. If I were tanned at all, they wouldn't work for me. Mascara and eyeliner: Eyeliner has a nice sharp tip and is easy to apply, but I don't think it's waterproof. Mascara is not clumpy at all. I like it because it keeps my lashes separate. Brow pencil: I don't usually use one of these, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It did fill in my brows as expected. Shimmer lip gloss: Very pink and sparkly. Not really glossy though. (Maybe it's not really gloss. I threw the box away already so I can't check.) I haven't tried the other glosses yet. Eyeshadow palette: A bit of a disappointment for me. In the box, they look highly pigmented, but they don't go on that way. The shimmers are particularly sheer going on. I swatched all the colors on my arm, and each of those took at least three swipes of my finger to get that dark. With a brush, you have to keep going in to get more. Glitter eyeshadow: This is my first time using eyeshadow with large pieces of glitter. I found it difficulty to get the chunks of glitter on a brush to apply. Maybe that's normal. The glitter stays on my face fairly well, so that's good. Finally the brushes: They are average quality. Like the rest of the set, they are good for a beginner. It's good that they are included because the eyeshadow palette doesn't come with any applicators.

This makeup kit is a nice set for a beginner. It comes with everything you need to do a basic face of makeup. The bag this comes in looks attractive and modern, and is really useful as a makeup bag, or travel toiletry bag. The foundation & BB cream this comes with are a medium skin tone shade. I wear ivory shades and they are many shades too dark for me. One of my teens wears nude/tan shades and they were closer to her shade than mine. The foundation is very orange though. Like light fake tan orange. The eyeliner and mascara are both in such fancy sparkly tubes. The eyeliner glides on easy and doesn't smudge, but is easy to remove. The mascara is great for separating and lengthening, but adds no volume or curl to the lashes. It doesn't leave clumps or pieces on the lashes, and you don't end up with "spider legs" eyes. The eyeshadow palette has a lot of shades, so there is something that will look good on everyone. Some of the colors are more pigmented than others. The blue quickly ended up at my favorite as it is iridescent. The glitter pallet is okay. Like a gel/paste with sparkles in it. It was on irritating, and surprisingly easy to remove. The 4 small ones that are labeled as lip gloss, are more of lip tints/stains, and there is a nice variety of colors. The brushes are meh. They'll work to apply the make up, but the quality isn't great, and 2 of the handles are crooked and arm like they are going to come apart quickly. The makeup sponge is denser than I am used to, but it worked well. The eyebrow pencil was shaped oddly, and didn't end up looking natural, so I won't be using that one in the future. Overall this is a nice set for a beginner, otherwise, go pick out your own colors and shades.

I'm kind of a sucker when it comes to make-up kits. I see them and want them. I may only use a few things from the set, but I usually end up with favorite items. This has a nice selection of almost everything. The eyeshadows are a little flashy and blingy, so if that's your thing, you'll love this. I tend to stick with more muted colors, but I admit to having a little fun with these during the holidays. My favorite pieces, however, are the lip colors. I also love the bag. It's just the right size to hold everything without being too big and bulky. I've not yet used everything I plan to use in the package, but I look forward to checking them out soon. I'm not sure if the quality is super good or not because, like I said, I've only used a few things so far.

This is a nice set. I don't view it as complete because it does not include blush. But, it seems perfect for someone that is just starting to use makeup and needs all of the basics, including a wide variety of brushes. The included travel case feels expensive and looks nice and each of the items inside are individually wrapped so you can feel good about giving as a gift. I will say that this is not high end makeup, but comparable to what you would find in Discount Department Stores or Drug Stores. Given the variety of items you get with this set, then if this foundation works with your skin tone then at this price point, it is a great deal.

The bag this comes in is really nice. It seems good quality and big. There is a TON of stuff that fits in it. The overall makeup quality is great for beginners or teens. Especially as the chances it matches your skin tone perfectly is pretty slim. Everything comes individually boxed/packaged which makes it great for a gift. My mirror did come cracked, but it was sent in a bubble mailer, so probably not their fault. Overall it's a very cute set ready to gift as is. I would personally buy it for my daughter or nieces.
