This set is a nice gift for a person that's new to make up and doesn't have an arsenal of eye shadows. The make up quality is good. It's pretty pigmented. Not a huge range per pallet. Each has 4 different shades to do a blend effect, but the jump per color in each range isn't drastic (so for example the lightest blue doesn't look much different than the next shade down in the blue pallet). The brushes get the job done. Not too much shedding, and the bristles are not too "pokey." All in all, this is a good value (it's only $19.99 at the time of my review) considering all the stuff you get. The case is awesome too. If you have someone that normally uses high-end make up, they will look at you sideways if you get them this, but any less picky make-up lover will be happy with you.

First, set your expectations. These are not name brand high end makeup pieces and brushes. That doesn’t mean they’re no good though. Especially for a child or someone totally new to makeup who’s excited to try a lot of looks. I opened a few things and there was nothing off putting about any of it, it was all individually sealed, palettes were all in one piece and so on. I’m giving this makeup kit five stars and here’s why (and I’m picky): The case is REALLY good quality. Long after the makeup is gone, you can load your own products, toys or treasures into it. The rainbow color sheds zero glitter also. Love the brush and pencil/gloss holders too. It all feels very fancy. I also love that the listing is VERY specific and lists every single item in the case. So you know exactly what you’re getting. There’s a huge variety of eyeshadows, lip balms, glosses, pencils, lipstick, concealer, contour and highlight palettes, blush, mascara, all the things. I would have played with this for HOURS as a kid and I think someone excited to try makeup could have SO MUCH FUN with this beautiful little case full of goodies. Well done, five stars!

This set has a decent variety of makeup pieces. Some of the glittery looks in the listing photos are not achievable with this set alone. The eyeshadows are not terribly pigmented and have a texture that’s a bit in the dry side and causes powder fallout below the eyes. The branding on each piece feels like overkill and might get kids made fun of for having a no name brand. The brush holder situation at the top is different. If you keep foam eyeshadow applicators up there, you’re going to get everything in the kit dusty. The box is fairly sturdy, although the lock on mine rattles quite a bit. Overall I think a tween might have a good time with this set, but they’ll outgrow it fairly quickly.

This kits comes with SO much. I bought it for my tween and while there are some products she needs to grow into, she’s able to use the majority of them. The colors are vibrant. The eyeshadows are buildable, which works great for beginners.

Beautiful assortment of colors in every category. It's not high in makeup but fun for dress up or makeover parties. I can't give feedback on how my skin likes it but I have tried the eyeshadow with no issues. This would make a really nice gift for a young person learning how to do their makeup and it comes with many brushes.

This is quite a lovely makeup kit, with all sorts of wonderful things inside a gorgeous case. I chose the purple case and it is really pretty. I know any young lady who has begun to experiment with makeup would love to have this. It will make a nice Christmas present. It arrived in perfect condition and everything looked so nice, with several brushes, applicators, many eye shadows, blusher, concealer, lipstick, lip gloss, and highlighter. The case is very well made and will make a nice at home and travel makeup case now and when adding other cosmetics later. I would recommend this good quality makeup kit.
