This is a good kit for an adolescent or teen who is just starting out with makeup. It has a lot of essentials, and all of the colors are pretty sheer and forgiving. The case is nice and holds everything with extra room for some other makeup or essentials. This brand also advertises itself as being cruelty free and nontoxic. I’ve noticed a lot of makeup sets aimed at a younger demographic tend to fall short here, so that is important to note. I think this makeup would also be nice for adults who like a more subtle look on a daily basis. The shimmers are very sparkly but not glittery, and the mattes are sheer. The formula and pigmentation reminds me a lot of Korean and Chinese eyeshadows, so if you are into Asian beauty brands, you’ll probably like these. If you like a more pigmented look or have a deeper skin tone, you might want to skip this set though. While I liked the eyeshadows, I was not as much a fan of the lip glosses, as they don’t stick around for longer than a few minutes after applying. The darker red one is a lot more pigmented and feels more like a stain though. And the lip liner is nice and close to my natural lip color. I was not a fan of the mascara. I also feel that for the price, it should come with at least one eyeliner, if not two. But overall, I do feel the set is a good value depending on who you are buying it for, or what your personal makeup preferences are.

Wife's review of this makeup kit (she's really into makeup): The Color Nymph All In One Makeup Kit comes in an attractive blue case with convenient snaps for easy opening and closing. The case itself is a standout feature, making it great for storage and travel. However, the quality of the makeup leaves something to be desired. The lipstick and lip wand in this kit are disappointing, as the colors appear vibrant, but turn out to be much lighter and almost translucent upon application. The eyeshadows also lack staying power, and their colors fade quickly. While the kit offers a fun variety of options, it falls short of being a true "All in One Kit," lacking cohesion and missing essential items like cheek color. One standout item in the kit is the mascara applicator, featuring a dual-sided design that allows for precise application to the base and length of the lashes. However, the overall execution of the dual-sided mascara falls short, as the step two component tends to break when opening. The blush in the kit is decent, although the application brush is subpar and requires a separate brush for proper application. The lipstick shade is nice, but the lip gloss color is odd when used alone. The overall quality of the mascara is okay, but the brush could be improved. This makeup kit is perfect for a younger pre-teen who wants to learn which colors, types of makeup, and combinations work for them. There’s so much here to experiment with and the quality is actually pretty decent for the price. The eyeshadow colors are not super pigmented but can be buildable. The case is nice to have but I feel like an actual plastic carrying case would be better for everything. This one is made out of cardboard. This kit does not contain foundation or primer but pre-teens are usually blessed with smooth, poreless skin. This kit is for enhancing, not covering up anything. Highly recommended, especially for a gift!

This makeup kit is a good option for anyone who wants a variety of makeup types and shades, and would be a perfect starter kit for a teen or young adult. The best part is the 64 different colored eyeshadows that range from bright and dark colors to neutral tones. It's easy to play with lots of different looks given the many gradations of color. The shadow has rich pigmentation and stays on for around 3-4 hours before it needs reapplication and it doesn't smudge easily. Other highlights include face powder/blush/bronzer, 7 lip glosses, a lip liner, a dual sided mascara, and more. The dual sided mascara is my favorite thing because of the small size applicator brush. The kit also comes with different kinds of brushes and a compact mirror. One downside is that the case isn't high quality. It holds all the makeup, but you need to leave the flimsy plastic cover over the side with the brushes or else the contents will spill out on to the other side when you close it. It's an inconvenience to remove the plastic every time. Aside from that issue this is a good all-inclusive makeup kit and a great value considering everything that comes with it.

My daughter loves this kit! I ordered this for us to experiment and play with for her, and she loved exploring all of the colors and options! The makeup is cruelty free and non toxic which made my animal loving daughter so happy! The kit comes with a nice variety of colors for eyeshadows- some are matte and some have a nice shimmer to them. The lipgloss is a pretty dark color, so my daughter will be using it as a play color at home. This is an awesome kit for a younger girl to play with, or a teen to have fun and experiment with. The longevity of the makeup isn't the best, but it does its job as far as looking cute for a bit and making a girl feel pretty.

Overall the makeup kit comes with a decent amount of makeup and they're easy to use. The bag itself sucks in my opinion. The look and color is nice, but the zipper is a bit annoying to use.
