I think this is a good value overall. I really like the see through bag. At the current price point I think it's a great deal even though some of the makeup is not to my satisfaction. Unless you just absolutely cannot afford it, I would buy my foundation and powder separately. You might also want to pick up a really good blush. This does have a good primer that I really like. The cover and powder for face coverage though is really lacking. They will go orange on you, and they are greasy and don't really do the job they're supposed to do. The brushes are nice and though they have smaller handles they are a good travel set. The eyeshadows are pretty colors that anyone can use - lots of browns and neutrals, but they are in small pots. Personally I really like the liquid and regular lipsticks in the set, and the beauty blender is great. It has some lip balm that is just very plain but it works good. I like the mascara that won't be for everyone. It has the tiniest little brush but it does a good job covering my aging skimpy lashes. ... show more
