This makeup kit is a great value. I can see it being a smart purchase for several reasons or occasions. This collection comes with two shades of concealer, one quite dark and one very fair, so no one is going to be able to use both, if either. It also comes with a loose translucent powder. Those products are kind of throw aways in my opinion. It comes with two eye shadow palettes. The colors are nice, mostly neutrals. They don’t have a lot of color payoff but you could work with them. There are two double ended eye crayons that are very creamy and smooth. They are pretty but fade quickly. Also included are two silk satin lipsticks and two liquid lipsticks. The liquid lipstick has some serious staying power. I had to use my makeup eraser cloth to remove it after wearing it on my lips all afternoon to test. If you like the shades included this may be a win for you. The surprise gems in the collection are the mascara, liquid liner, and brow pencil. The brow pencil is a taupe color and is creamy and smooth. It would need a setting spray but the color and the smoothness is really good. The liquid liner is a deep brown and seriously rivals any expensive brand I’ve ever purchased. It glides on with smooth precision and didn’t budge until I removed it with cleansing oil. The mascara is true black and one coat gave me my favorite lash look. Long, curled, dark, separated lashes. I don’t like the clumpy thick or heavy false look so your opinion may vary but I was super impressed with amount of clump free length this mascara gave me in one simple coat. It does not flake or smudge with wear, I even slept in it one night (bad I know!) and it looked perfect still in the morning. I would buy just this mascara on repeat without hesitation. All the products in my order (in 2023) had expiration dates marked on the items between the years 2026 and 2028 which I appreciate being able to see. You also get two blender sponges, a carry bag, and a mini brush set. At the time of my order this whole collection costs what one mascara would cost at Sephora and as I stated the mascara alone is worth that!

This kit has everything you would need to either start out sing makeup or take on a trip. The palette evrn had glitter options. In general the foundation is lighter and would not work for darker skin tones. I Ike the variety of lip colors and they even included a chapstick.
