It's very cute but if you plan on using it exactly as an Advent calendar, make sure you have some extra tools to help empty each "date" without accidently tearing into another. Just a lil thing really. No big deal. Y'all enjoy & happy holidays!!!,

I ordered this Makeup Advent Calendar for my 10 yr old daughter who thinks she's 16. She is very much into skin care and makeup. I was trying to find a fun advent calendar for her this year and came across this. It's nearly perfect! There is good variety of items from eye shadows to blushes to lip glosses and sticks and eye and lip pencils. Concealer and mascara too. There is some sparkle in some of the items, which is great for my daughter. I say this set is "nearly perfect" because it gives mixed vibes to me. I see elements geared more towards younger girls like the hair tie that looks like it'd be for a little girl, the bunnies on some of the cases are cute for a younger-pre-teen girl, and then there are older looking elements like the eyebrow pencil, lipstick color and some of the eye shadows in neutral and fall color tones. The concealer is light colored, so if you don't have fair skin it wouldn't work really. My daughter will love it, even if she doesn't like all the elements, but I think this set could be improved gearing towards one group or the other, either young or older instead of trying to mix.

My daughter is so excited to be able to do this once December hits and I’m super happy that she loves it. I was a little worried cause she’s weird about getting makeup for Christmas but to be able to get all these different things and not know when she’s like super excited so I will take pictures throughout December or try and sneak open her calendar but right now it’s fully sealed and wrapped in the packaging and she wants to be the one to open it December 1 Update: ok so my daughter wanted to do this calendar now and I gave in I couldn’t help it. She absolutely loved it!! It is a 100% hit for my 13yr daughter the only thing is the mascara we are going to get a fast dry water proof.
