This is a true to size fit and the colors are gorgeous. I originally bought this for a casual wedding but ended up wearing it are a day to day easy to throw on dress. Fabric is light, perfect for hot weather, but not transparent. Very comfortable and plan to use it for many occasions.

EDIT: I originally thought I had received the *wrong* color, but I now realize that the photo on Amazon was just washed out/lightened, and my dress is a bit more vivid. I have edited my review and rating accordingly. On to the dress itself: the colors are beautiful and summery, no issues with sheerness. The sizing is great, the dress is breezy and flowy for summer heat, and I have lots of room all over to move freely. My body is pregnancy-shaped due to abdominal diastasis, and this dress is flattering. One issue: there is no tag at the neckline, so you will need to put the dress on a few times to see which necklines you prefer in the front and back. Another warning: static cling can be an issue with this fabric, so be sure to moisturize well!

I was desperate to find a somewhat flattering and comfortable plus sized dress for a casual afternoon East Coast wedding. I checked out some plus size girlies on TikTok and a lot of them liked this dress. This definitely fit the bill and I got several compliments on it. (I got the pink and green floral) I’m 5’7” and it grazed the floor on me which I was happy with. I feel like this dress can easily go super casual or dressy depending on your shoes and accessories. Since this was a casual style outdoor wedding, I wore strappy sandals and carried a straw bag. I ordered my regular size (1X) and a size up. I could have worn my regular size but I was the tiniest bit more comfortable with the larger size so I do think it runs the tiniest bit small. The smocked top has loads of stretch so it will work well for those with large chests. I liked that I could wear a regular bra with it. The sleeves are a bit poofy for my taste and I felt that they looked better worn slightly off the shoulders. The negative’s are that it was hard to get the wrinkles out, the fabric is very cheap and there are no size or care tags. Like, I mean, cheap cheap fabric. I imagine this would be very hot in the summer. All in all, I was comfortable and looked event appropriate but this will probably be a one and done for me. If you’re a plus size girl, this one will work but be forewarned that the fabric is not nice and I’m shocked at the low quality for $50. I’ve never bought any fast fashion from Amazon before but I tried this in desperation.

This is cute--and I don't say that lightly--I love the puffed sleeves and the neck ruffle that goes all the wayh around---not too much but just enough to be flattering. The skirt flows nicely and this will work for almost any occasion this summer--whether going to a fancy party or just going shopping with friends, or a night out with my guy. The colors were a bit brighter than I expected, but really look nice "on" and I might order another in different colors!
