  • Great for any level of financial literacy
Format: Kindle
I did not have the luxury of growing up in a household that talked about finances. It was always something hidden, which meant I had no clue how to do anything financial when I became an adult. I spent over 10 years reading articles online and watching videos to try and understand credit and debt and budgeting. This book is an amazing way to learn vast majority of that information much easier. I recommend pairing this book with "I Will Teach You To Be Rich" by Ramin Sethi (who he actually quotes in the book). With these two books you will know everything that any regular person would need to know (i.e. Someone who does not work in finance and just wants to be wealthy and debt free). Kudos to the author on making difficult concepts brief and easy to understand. Side note: I used the concepts in this book before I read this book. When I did, my credit score jumped up 131 points and I am now on a plan to become free of credit card debt in 3 years. I can validate the concepts because they already worked for me! ... show more

  • Eye opening!
Format: Paperback
I bought this book because I have been looking to find a way to get out of debt. I regretting not reading it right away because I wasted a lot of my money. After reading it, I jumped into doing debt consolidation 2 weeks ago and got approved and I made my first minimum payment that I’m paying a very low interest, meaning I will be able to pay my debt faster. This also mean I let go 4 credit cards, big credit limit cards and I felt the freedom, peace of mind. Now I m only using the lower credit limit cards and just using them to build up my credit again. In fact, I got an email from the company that monitors my credit congratulating me that my credit card spending had lowered by 59% and it is helping my credit when I maintain a low balance. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book. Thanks so much. With the pandemic. this book is necessary because we have been shopping online without thinking about the consequences of using the cards. MUST READ! ... show more
