I got this on the recommendation of the EDC community. The material feels kind of rubbery, but nice. Slips into my pocket smoothly and I love it as a slim wallet. It is definitely not for anyone looking to carry more than 3-4 paper bills at a time, but that is fine for me as I almost exclusively do not carry cash. The only odd thing about it is that it's constantly spouting fibers from the side. When I opened the package it had some already. I trimmed them down with a razor but they keep coming back. It's not a game breaking problem - but just a little strange. If they weren't there when I opened the package I would have thought they were from my pocket but they are in fact coming from the wallet.

I originally purchased the Fidelo slim wallet that lets you eject cards for use, and loved it. However, the sharp corner ended up wearing a hole in my slacks. I settled on the Magpul DAKA Bifold as a replacement. It is very lightweight, and has held up well over the past few months, with no more holes in my pants. I carry 8 credit-card sized items, a thin insurance card and an extra folded $50. Everything fits easily, with plenty of room for cash in the larger compartment. Some observations: The wallet flops closed when you set it down. This is plus in my book. It is not RFID blocking, and I can store my work badge in the cash slot. It holds a reasonable amount of cash, without requiring it to be folded multiple times. Each side of the wallet has two slots for cards, a skinny one-card slot on top, and the wider multi-card slot beneath it. It is NOT easy to slide a card out of the top slot, nor is it easy to quickly return it. I ended up putting my primary card in the bottom of the lower slot. It is easier to get the card out, and much easier to return the card. However, I would have preferred that this card be in the top slot.

This wallet is really nice because the material has a slight texture that allows it to stay in your pocket yet your can pull it out without snagging. I lead an active lifestyle so sometimes my clothes get saturated in sweat and water, but the wallet itself doesn’t absorb moisture, and stays looking new. I like that it holds relatively a lot of cards and some bills for its size it is compact enough to place in my front pocket without printing. I choose this wallet over more expensive wallets, this wallet is nice. I don’t care if I’m dressed ruggedly or wearing nice clothes, this stays on me. Thanks Magpul for developing this wallet and offering it at an affordable price point.

This is a solid wallet, good color, well made, but I returned it. I took away a star because MAGPUL products are made in the USA except for this one, which I only discovered after getting it because it didn't state the country of origin, as every product ought to.

Just picked this up. Seemed like a great slim wallet option that allows me to carry bills that are not clipped in or held by a rubber band. Here are my observations. 1) Love the material and the texture, feels very durable. Would 100% survive a ride in the washing machine. 2) Fits 6 cards nicely, but starts getting some folding issues. 3) Carries 5 bills nicely, but starts having folding issues above 6. 4) 4 cards + 5 bills seems to be the max before folding issues occur. 5) Small strands of fiber can be seen along the welded edges, a quick pass with a lighter takes care of it. 6) The material grips denim well keeping it secure in my jeans. So far so good. Ill update as I carry it more. The photos included both have 4 cards. The nicely closed picture has 4 bills in it, the open one has 8. With time I am sure it will break in and wont have folding issues.

The wallet ID made of some vinyl or plastic product that provides zero ability for bills to move with the wallet as you fold in half. You know those wallets that have that more silky fabric in the bill pocket, yea, that's what this needs. Resists folding in half.....
