I am pleased with the quality and comfort. And the dimensions are closer to 17 inches deep x 17.5 inches wide, a good size for my chairs. However, I like a clean, simple look. So I may return these because the piping is white, NOT as pictured on Amazon, which was the same fabric as the cushion. So the piping stands out. These pads are very comfortable and well made and we really like them, unfortunately we can't use them. The pads are advertised at being 16x17 inches and our stool seats measure exactly 16x17 inches, but the pads are considerably longer and hang over a good 1.5 inches.
