I used those for an art exhibit. Didn't want to spend $$$ framing my artwork. I looked for magnets that would be little and elegant. These were beautiful, and easy to install. My exhibit was in a very fancy room, and I was not ashamed by the look of those magnets. They held up perfectly. For the largest / heaviest paper, I put a magnet every 8in or so. Even for 8x10in prints, I put 4 magnets in all corners, and the prints looked like they were hovering on the wall. it was really nice. TIP: Make sure to have a wooden hammer because they'll stick to an iron one (of course), making install really hard. I had to push most of them with my hands, and it went into drywall fairly easily, but my hand really hurt after a while. Removing them was super easy, and I love that they only left a tiny hole on the wall. ... show more

I do a lot of gel plate printing and these are ideal for displaying pieces that you're working on. I’ve included a photo with this product next to a standard thumb tack. The magnetic version has a slightly longer stick and is perhaps just a smidge thicker. It left a hole in the wall not much different than a tack would (also pictured). The magnet is strong and I worried about it damaging the poster when I tried removing it but I didn’t have any issues. It was surprisingly easy to remove considering how well it held the poster. I also didn’t have any issues with shipping. My package arrived in tact, and while the box isn’t the highest quality plastic available, I feel like it’s perfectly suited for storing the pins. I don’t anticipate having any trouble with it lasting. It seems sturdy enough to do it’s job. The pins are packaged with small foam protection around the points.
